What a great event. Saturday evening sailing on the Illinois River for 3 hours, great music and dancing. Late Saturday prowling the local gay bars, went to a couple nice ones. Sunday at Pride - great people and support for each other. THey plan for a bigger and better Pride in 2011 (their 3rd Annual) - funny Urbana-Champaign does nothing. We have a pretty active GLBT group at U of I.

Just joined and excited to be here. Rather drab day, the public star party at the university observatory has been cancelled due to the weather so I have a free Friday night. Group of us are going to Peoria IL for Gay Pride 2010! Should be pretty kewl. Every one is leaving the building now, it's 511PM most of the professors are gone and it's us grad students left over.
