the shadow is my light,

spark that lights the flame,

far beyomd the burning sun,

the darkness must remain,

your glittering whiteness soothes the sky,

and seeks my hidden soul,

all covered in enchanted song,

misty black, raven gold,

I feel the wind,

its soothing touch,

I feel the moon,

its silver rush,

I feel the lips that call my name,

but in the dark i shall remain,

I am the Dark One, strong and true,

I drink the light,

that shines in you,

any color that you light,

I drink it deep i am midnight,

i fly free of will,

to the four directions,

far apart,

tis the light of the world my angel black,

that stirs you heart when looking back,

tis memories of old when childhood dreams,

held stars in there eye's, and rainbows in dreams,

here in our darkness we worship the night

when your lips touch mine,

we never look back,

let it shine for the others who never will see,

that greet you and me.

i feel the darkness in this, its message speaks of the midnight that haunts and tempts, i am a midnight dweller, this is a side of midnight that doesn't see the dawn.
