i fell in love with a girl who swept my heart away.

i cherished every moment i had to spend with her,

yet i let her slip away from my grasp.

i told her to go off and find someone better,

and now she might have.

i dont have very much time left,

and i will lose her forever.

she holds a special place that she adorns around her neck.

she might not know what that means,

but to have her wear it means everything.

it is hard to let her slip through my fingers,

and i know the time is near.

that i will be gone forever and never see her smile,

she will be gone from me;

I am quite certain that from her own comment, that she is far better off without you, and has found another, that is willing to treat her as she deserves to be treated.



Hopefully her pain will not last long.
