Frustration.....

I would really like to get a fucking film project going yet I lack the initiative to undertake anything major. Not to mention that a film budget is out of the question at the moment as cash is way too tight.
I'm thinking a nice 30 minute zombie short that I could showcase around at festivals might work but then I wanna do something with vampires. I also need the talent to come out and work for free, well for food. LOL. I'm even considering getting a bunch of people together on a weekend and hanging out at an intersection in the city with plastic jars, begging donations. Again, getting people to volunteer to help is the major problem.
So, with all of this in my head right now, I find myself extremely distracted.

Well, I have to say that i got an impromptu phone call last night and it was from Alluringaurelia. She doesn't get into the city much, but she took time out, since she was here, and came by for a visit. I have to say that she's a really cool chick and had it not been for the late hour, I'd have hung out more. Alas, there will have to be another time for that. No pics either.

I had the opportunity this week to hang with some of the people that are my friends from VR.
I met Incarnadine on July 4th and we hung out for a few hours. Would have liked to get some pics but didn't have my camera. That means that INC is gonna have to get back to Philly again...lol.
Today, I had the pleasure of hanging with Shadowwolf776. He finally got his copy of the book he won from the house poetry contest. He, myself, and my kids took in Pirates of the Carribean 2, which I have to say kicked total ass. I rememberbed the camera this time around so is are some pics of us, hanging outside the theater.
I've met other people and actually hang out with MystressVampyra a few times a month so I'll be sure to get pics next time she's over here.
A Note on Being a Trade Master......

We all know that one of the goals within a house or coven is to make deals that satisfy both parties and do good to bolster both area's stats. When dealing in trades, it is often best to be realistic. Fantasizing about earning a great deal of favor for someone that is in your house or coven through a trade is a great thing, but offering someone who is worth tons less than what you're asking for them makes two things happen....
1. The trade is immediately declined.
2. Future trades get rejected a lot easier.
The trade process is a matter of collective bargaining. It's ok to high-ball someone at first but when the initial trade opens with the line, "we will take no less than...." it becomes an absolute.
This being said, learn the craft and be realistic. The job is pretty hard as is and it only gets worse once people know that you're not gonna give good deals. Just my two cents worth.
