The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It was so weird, I am young so I was a teenager when the Twilight fascination hit... but before Twilight hit. I was the weird one for liking vampires, demons, other dark creatures. I wanted all of that before it was considered "cool" and then Twilight hit and I hadn't read it yet. I had hope... that maybe with Vampires being the newest craze, I would finally be accepted. I would finally be able to talk about my preferences and openly communicate with others about what I wanted to learn about.

That didn't happen though, because Twilight made Vampires look like... white knights in shining armor. Edward became the new Prince Charming, but with a lot more mental health issues. I was still the odd one out because I wanted a Vampire who hid in the darkness, not one that sparkled in the sunlight... listened to sad music and secretly hated himself and everything he was. I wanted someone who thrived in the darkness.

It's been so frustrating. The looks I get every time I'm watching a movie or a show with someone and both heroin and enemy is on the screen. Let's say they are both wearing really cool outfits and are really strong but one is clearly fighting for the "light" and the other is clearing fighting for the "dark"... and my friend goes "wow they are hot" and you agree. Then you both quickly realize the other is talking about the opposite of what you are... and there it goes... I'm the weird one still. Why? Because I root for the darker ones. I don't always agree with what they are doing of course. I don't think you should do evil things or anything like that... I just think that the people who consider themselves "light" are too quick to judge those they consider "dark."
