I've reconnected with someone who I hung around with when I was a little girl. We were the same age. When I moved away, I had no choice but to leave him behind. It sucked so much. But now that I went out of my comfort zone, I went out of my way to get a hold of him. I feel so relieved that I did something for myself. I was afraid, but I did it anyway. I guess that's one way to conquer a fear.



Anyways, I had no idea that he was going to end up asking me out on a date. He sent out a bunch of hints until I hit the breaker point. I was so surprised. I wasn't expecting I'd even get that far. But it is. I can't believe that it's tonight. It's my first date. I had a relationship in the past, but we never went on dates. It was basically just fucking. It grew tiresome. Doing the same things all the time. The fact that I found this guy again. I don't know what to expect.



We've grown so much. We never ran into each other. We haven't spoken or been around each other for years. Forever. I'm so very nervous, but I'm excited. All I want to do is throw my arms around him and not let go. I feel like he'll float away like a dream. I don't want this to be a dream. And I noticed that I've been in good spirits since I welcomed him back into my life. I'm smiling. I'm laughing. And it's real. It's something I felt once upon a time when I fell in love with someone that I was with for 3 and a half years. On and off. I don't know if that's what will happen after tonight. Or if we'll go out again, but I don't want it to end. I want time to stop for just us for this night. All I can do is hope. And be positive. And have fun, that's the most part.
