Ah..home sweet new home :)

So last night I got the chance to walk through our new home for the very first time..also stayed our very first night..
Gosh it just blew my mind..it is just so beautiful and more then I could have ever asked or thought of for our new home..
Its so big that all our stuff barely fills one room.
We have so much space that I don't know what to do with it all..lol
I guess moving from a small studio cottage to a two story place is just kinda a shock lol..
But I cannot wait for this weekend I am going to start getting things situated and kinda start getting things put away and of course start decorating lol
Just so amazing..great way to start off a new year..

When the clock struck mid-night at out place it started snowing..like litterly give or take a few seconds..the first snow of the season and possibly the last..
It was also funny because I had just such a sense of optimism and excitement rush through me for this new year..
I have never been the type to make new years resolutions...its just not something I have ever done and I dont see my self ever doing it...I do how ever have certain long term goals that I always try to set for myself each year..
For starters..we move into our new place today..3x the size of our old old place...and much MUCH nicer...(minus mold or shitty neighbors...) and its only $5..yes $5 more then our last place...
I am also doing good at my job and I do enjoy it..long hours but I have really found myself liking my new routine...keeps me busy which is one of the most important things for me...
Also got a chance to meet Johns side of the family the past few months..although him and I have been together for a couple years most of his family lives far away and we hadn't had the money to go see them..
So this new year we will going to see them a lot more, which makes me so happy..they are such a great family!
Also John is in the running for a paid internship for his recent schooling he did..which we be so amazing for him :)
One of the biggest things for this new year though is that John and I plan on getting married on November 11th.
I have butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it lol...
We are going to go to the coast on Memorial Day weekend to pick a place...
And that is the biggest goal of the new year so far..and I couldn't be more excited..its the first time for both of us and I couldn't be more ready...
I haven't been more excited for a new year...

The first night in a new place it does always seem so very large. We bought a Church, and it seemed ginormous at first..now it seems to be shrinking on us..lol. Hope you are still happy in your home! :D
