Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Christmas per SE, It's just they start it earlier every year. So, by the time Christmas does get here, I've been inundated with "Deck the halls", and "Roasting Chestnuts" till I'm ready to puke!

When I was a child Christmas started in December as it should. We had a whole year to hold our breath and pray for Santa to bring that one special gift that we couldn't make it any longer without!

Now, by the time it arrives we have been so bombarded by commercials that assure us we just aren't "hip" if we don't buy the latest piece of crap they're selling that I for one and sick of it!

There. I feel better now. My meds have kicked in!

i soo agree!!! my mother is the type that starts a full blown christmas, music and all, the day after thanksgiving. and its nothing but christmas movies and music and...... and...... and..... omg its annoying! it makes me hate the holiday all together, pardoning that one little part at the end where you get presents. but it doesnt stop there for my mother, oh no! with her christmas lasts til after new years, waaaay after new years. its just sickening! k done ranting. : )
