MY HEART IS LIKE A LIZARD THAT LOSES HIS OR HER’S AND BECOMES A SNAKE FOR NOT BEING PUT TO USE.A WHEEL THAT NEVER GETS TURNED,A DUSTY COIN SLOT.TELLING ME SOMETHING ISN’T THERE,WHEN IT IS.

RIVER RIDE
I'M THE SHARK THAT SAILS THROUGH THE WATERS OF THE STREET THAT WINDS THROUGH A CANYON LIKE A RIVER.
LIKE A RIVER FLOWS.
YOU SEE ME COMIN,
MY TEETH ARE SHARP, MY MIND IS CUNNING.
I'M THE PIRATE OF YOUR SHIP.
LET ME IN YOUR MIND THROUGH YOUR EYES WITH NO DISGUISE.
YOUR LOVE IS LIKE A TREASURE BURIED BENEATH THE SEA
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
DARK EYES, BLACK NIGHT
DARK EYES
BLACK NIGHT
DARK EYES
BLACK NIGHT
DARK HAIR
BLACK NIGHT
IT'S EVERYWHERE
EVERY DAY
NO PLAY
EVERY DAY
NO GAME
EVERY DAY
YOU GO NOWHERE
OVER AND OVER AGAIN
OVER AND OVER IT'S DEAD
LET'S DO IT AGAIN

RAIN AND SNOWFALL
The sun shines hidden between a nighttime drive.
A lake reflects houses where a street winds by a gates eyes.
Sounds of people echo between the skies.
Dust kicks up what the tires left behind.
Looking back only reminds what’s up ahead.
Through the separate mountainside, the comfort sinks in like
the sun.
Behind canvas painted flower barriers that touch the sky.
Different sights lay along side, where a light kisses to hide.
Realized on under granite highs.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
The hidden orchids unwind, soothing erratically.
Through outer years spiraling while the moons growing in
the sky.
Where friendly fellows, conception carriers move away
sported leather footed giants.
Like a word you want to choose, the rivers running down,
the hues, the weather coming on strong with the rain and
snowfall.
The weathers cold, with only myself to keep warm,
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
While driving through red octagons before the street goes
on.
The cold has settled in, shadows laid warmth.
The sun comes in, scattering the light assort.
Like a mother with many kids to abort.
Like a lonely boat-less port, your mind chipped away at, like
an artist does to a sculpture.
Your mind is liquid from being punched.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Feelings run down like ink that has not settled in.
Your mind grips like a clothespin; your life's the shark in the
water, not the fin.
A midnight blue and black sky holds you from within; a
sweet smell knocks on the air,
To watch the show in space, for you to stare.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
NOTE-DRAFT POEM SENTENCES IN THE WORKS:
KINDLY INSIDE YOUR LIQUID LAUGHTER.
DRIVING DOWN YOUR STREET WHERE CAN YOU BE ?
WHERE'S THAT SMILE THAT LIT UP THE DARK STREET ?
DEEP STARE
THE SKY IS BLACK,
ON A ONE WAY TRACK,
LOOKING FORWARD,ONLY TO SEE WHAT'S BACK.
A NIGHT OF DRINKS,WHERE GIRLS BREED BREATH,
YOUR LOVE COMES ON LIKE THE RAGING SEA.
EYE'S FROM ACROSS THE ROOM
THEY LOOK INTO ME.
THE STEPS WIND UP AND DOWN
SO FREELY, SPIRALING.
BY BRYAN SOLOMON
Lonely like a single star in the sky by the moon shedding its light like stone
I’m so alone
Where can she be
A girl I’ve never seen
Whose eyes gleam like snakeskin.
In a place I’ve never been
You know my heart isn’t free
I can give it to you
But why don’t you give it to me.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Like the right measurement
That drips like blood upon your cheek
Why can’t you see
I’m just here to be
And some of you cease to believe what you ought to be.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Like a buffalo that roams
Into the stars that align
You get want you want in the right time.
Follow the signs
Before you fall off the cliff
That will never lift you onto the ground
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
There’s a girl with fire for her hair
Green mystic rises from her hands into the air
A girl I’ve never seen
In a place I’ve never been
Could you let me in your beautiful eyes
She screams from a mountaintop
Her water drops like a fountain
Going down a stream
Her boots are made from leather
She flies like wild feather.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I need a girl who won’t party all the time
A girl who will always be by my side
A girl who love me all the time
A girl who won’t always be on my mind.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I can see you see can you see me
I know we got to be
Together ‘til the end of time.
Now I’ve seen you I’ve got to make you mine
Now
Can you set me free
From what I’m supposed to be
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I’ve seen you
Behind that locked door
Now I’ve got to see you some more
Were you smiling or laughing at me
Because I know you can hear me.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
The motor running right outside
You know I like to take you for a ride
Of your life
I can hear you now
I can see you now.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Her hair black like coal
Her smile does glow
Your eyes sink deep within my soul making me want more.
She said she would see me again
Now I am asking her when
When will I see you again
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
You just don’t get me
How do you even know me.
Now
I got ya in my grasp
I will have you at last
You don’t know if you want me
So I got to wait and see.
Are you fooling with me or just pretending to be
I got you painted on my scene
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I see ya in the night the final star shines so bright
Watch the fog
Between the trees
As I drive through the canyons like a dream
Cloaked by night nothing seems as it seems.
I’ll take your head
Girl and place it between my knees.
If you don’t want me Ill have to see ya bleed
I watch the wild animals breed.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
You got to be my bride
Swim through blood of the tide
Watch you hide inside ah mind
That’s mine a whirlpool
Picture of you
As I step through this life
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
There’s this place I hide all black inside
Like a lonely lion of his pride in a place you can’t find
You got me shakin cold
Right down to the bone.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Peel zest
She dreams of incest.
You’re trying to run from my head
You know I’m growing on you
You know we’ll be soon.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Take my hand
I’ll make you make me understand the stars shine bright under the sky of the night.
The fog is deep
Make you dream of me
When it’s time to sleep.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I put out a smoke but underneath when we were talking outside on the sidewalk I rested
my head upon yours
Got no kiss goodnight.
You told me about the pain
Happening in a couple of days
As my eyes met your gaze.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Are you for real
Or just here to play with my heart and mind
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
How do I make you feel
When I see ya
Again
Is this for real
Or inside this trapped mind where I sigh
Deep beneath
Underneath the water coming down onto me.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I think about you
Wondering what I mean to you
The sky is black can you make it blue again
Just one more time can I see you
Can I see you again
Or are you going to put me down like a defeated king puts down his crown.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Can you rest your lips upon mine
I said I wanted so badly
Why can’t you understand me
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I’ve seen you
My friend
Walking out the store
I’ve seen your legs
I’ve seen your face
Now, where did you go again
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
In a life of pain the one who drives you insane
I don’t know why you do this again
In a world that ends for you and I watch the time go down
While watching water go from your face to your toes
Like water that drips down from a rose and you can see me looking into your gentle eyes.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I ain’t your fool or stepping stone if it’s going to be like this I’d rather be left alone
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
W.T.P.S.
Like a flash of light
Like a star is bright
Like the night is night
Never give up the fight
Everything’s allright.
You’re my friend there’s no end in friend
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
I know your soul I know your mind like a clock knows time
Like nature knows fall
You make my bed so empty
You make my night so lonely
Didn’t need
Didn’t want
Didn’t bleed
Your mind I haven’t
Sandstone painted colored skies on an early morning sunrise
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Sorry I made you cry
I don’t want our love to die.
I could taste transparent blood from your nipple that I suck.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Life sucks someone save me
People suck they just add and are the reason why I am tortured
No one wants me
Or likes me
They lie and pretend they won’t stop
Spying on me and making my life a living hell.
They call me a wannabe
A poser
And not for real.
They deny me everything
They won’t let me live
They set me up
Make me a living joke.
Drive me crazy.
(--------------?--------------) me sleep.
They want to kill me.
They call me names.
They harass me.
They won’t let me live and go forward in my life.
They stop me from what I want to do in life.
It’s never OK for me
With them it’s OK for them but not me.
Why?
Never.
I’m always left out
I hate being compared to people
Listen here
Fuck you.
People!
Always accusing me of shit.
Treating me like a fucking robot
Nobody understands me.
I have no life, man
Fuck you all.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
The sky is black on a one way track looking forward only to see what’s back.
A night of drinks
Where girls breed breath.
Your love comes on like the raging sea
Eyes from across the room
They look into me.
The steps wind up and down
So freely spiraling
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Loneliness
No one to hold
No one to hold me.
Left out in the cold
Or heat of the summer
Abandon
Forgot about but not forgotten.
People everywhere I go
But no one is there
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Birds
Joggers
Cars racing up and down the street
While one rests so peacefully.
Clouds hugging mountain tops
And the mountains can’t decide
Where there should be more green than rock.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Fakes
Phonies
Pretenders
Wish they were’ers
Who are they?
How do they know me
What do they want from me.
In check out lines
Behind registers
On the streets
In cars
In houses.
Getting t know me behind fake facades
Not here beside me
Doing nothing for themselves but everything for me
And you say you hate me?
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
A woman squatting making her child grow up too soon where he can’t choose for
himself.
And then offers you an insincere smile and kindly walks off hearing her heels clank the
pavement.
And there she goes walking
Walking
Down the sidewalk
Kid trailing behind.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Never your own in this world of hurt.
There’s enough taken
But what’s given?
Are you for real
So many questions asked
But what is answered?
Everybody has something
But what do I have to call my own
A T.V.
A stool
A bed someone’s got to like me
And not accuse me.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Nothing’s funny
But why is there laughter
Can’t I do what I want?
Am I really alone in an empty room or is there somebody there?
I’m right here
Where are you?
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
This is my life
Is it yours
I don’t think it is.
Now you butt out.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Am I a pervert for wanting to be touched
Held
Fucked
And not screwed.
All these false directions that are meaningless
And only meant to label you and to play a part in life’s big movie
Their movie not mine
I do not act.
BY BRYAN ERIC SOLOMON
Don’t say anything
Silence is good
Or else it will be used against you in the court of life
Or are my thoughts as clear and present as words that I speak.
