Adios people,

I'm off to find people who accept me for my weirdness

About a year has passed

now we're brought together again

sixth period, the one that's an hour long



Damn! You got fat!

I guess those nuts

that filled your brain

spread to your chipmunk cheeks

the cover finally gives a more accurate depiction

of what's inside



The school musical comes around

you needed to ride a bike

no problem, right? everyone can ride

except for

the spoiled brat

pampered

protected

chauffeured

anywhere

anytime

as if the world will end

if she lifts one chubby finger



And I can't do anything she can't do

how dare I ride a bike

and get myself places with it

that is simply not allowed

it can't be

it must stop

I can't be better than her

in anyway

what so ever

it will immediately be dealt with

through hostility

and demeaning comments



You really haven't changed much

still the same

spoiled brat

if even a bit more

spoiled

and brattier



Alot can be learned from you

about the way people take out their own problems

on others



Today

My inspiration for this poem

I made an incorrect observation

You exploded on me

went on a rant

I couldn't understand half of it

partially because my phone holds more interest

more importance

than anything flapping out of your chubby cheeks



And partially because I didn't need to

I knew what you really meant

what you really wanted to say

and it's definitely not what you said



You were jealous because of the field trip

the one you didn't go on

the one where I spent all day with your

best friends

that's why you really exploded

that incorrect observation was nothing more than an excuse

to explode

a mask

for what you really wanted to express



A lot can be learned from you

about why people take out their own problems

on others

through the mask

with the excuse

they don't have the intelligence and emotional capacity

to be open

honest

the courage

to tell people how they really feel

try to fix their problems

so they explode

spewing their emotions

their personal problems

over anyone who happens to be in the way



The abrasive bits of debris might harm you

but always remember their source

where they came from

what they belonged to



A lot can be learned from you

and your abrasive bits

it's quite the violent means of expressing your problems

wouldn't you agree?



What you really meant

what you really wanted to say

is you're jealous

upset

regretful

your life sucks

very little happens

exaggerating and lying

just to make your life seem better

you're the piece of crap who wants to be me



Eighteen days left

and it's all over

none of this matters after graduation

but I've learned a lot from you

and your abrasive bits

a lot more about how life works

probably more than I ever did in algebra
