for what I sought

I knew what was to be found

after I gave you some ground

it didn't surprise me in the least

you not letting go of the beast

the beast inside

you let reside

it eats at your very soul

as it has only one goal

to strike out and fire

in anger and ire

no peace of mind

will you ever find

'til the day you reach out

and find there's no doubt

of the mistakes that were made

in the hand of life that you played.

The Colors of



The perfect light

not seen as white

Fades to black,



The feelings of icy blue

caused by you

Fades to black,



The orange of fire

brings no desire

Fades to black,



The crimson red upon the knife

comes to claim a life

Fades to black,



The bright yellow sun

now shines for only one.

trying to ignore it

the cold glass

sending her to the past

an age of old

of romance and bliss

on her lips a tender kiss

The drops of rain on my window

cascade down

To match the tears of pain

upon my face

The pane of glass shatters

as does my heart

I reach for you

jagged edges cut to the bone

My heart bleeds for you

the time spent alone

Take me away from this world I no longer belong

Upon your wings gentle yet strong

Fly me away to the heavens above

I want to see all the things that I love

Through the rainbow

Up high and down low

To see the stars in the night sky

With you I want to fly

Wrap your wings around me my magical friend

Fly me to a dream that never will end

The moon at night through your eyes I want to see

Only with you is where I want to be

Through the fluffy clouds so soft and white

All this to me will bring such delight

In awe of you my gentle giant beast

My love for you is one never to cease

Spiraling downward

Forever onward

Take me away.
