Two faces,
One dream.
Endless memories,
Beyond that hallow stream.
Two sides,
One story.
Countless remedies,
Leading them to glory.
Walk along the withering ways,
Straddling that short blade.
See nothing but the mask,
Say nothing but the image you've made.

Lullaby
Once there was a little bird
Who dared to sing a different song
And found himself in the pit of darkness
Thrashed with broken wings,
Vile dreams
Lying in a pool of salt, slum, and crimson
Waiting on the waterfront
For the moon to cast.
To bring in the tide
That brought in the sharks
Feeling trapped, lonely and helpless
Yet still singing that different song
That ever-bittersweet lullaby
That put to sleep the memories
Of the laughs
Torment
Of hatred and Hell.
That locked them up
Inside the little bird
Letting it sit and wait
For the moon to show
For the light to fade
So the tide would roll in
And end the misery
And as the bird, sung it requiem of a lullaby
All the other birds watch
Stared
Waiting
For the time
They could see
The truth
In all the villain's lies
The gentle wave rocking
To the tweeting remorse of the winging forsaken creature
Who gave to this Earth
All it had to give
And yet there was only the tormenting of laughs and cries
Of cries and truth
Of truth and lies
And lies from friends.
This was that lullaby.
