I dream of things that never were,

of things that never will be.

I dream of living all in one piece,

and not the broken and fractured me.

I dream of days filled with sunshine,

not the grey and black skies above.

I dream of not always wanting to die,

but of someday really feeling loved.

I dream of a heart that feels no pain,

yet seeing the illusion, the lie.

I dream of days of happiness,

instead of always need ing to cry.

I dream of faith, hope & love;

knowing it's all in vain.

For when I open my eyes once more,

the nightmare is still the same.

I dream of things that never were,

things that never will be.

Now with my eyes open wide once more,

I am myself, the loathsome me.

Walk under a ladder,

bad luck befalls you.

Look at my life.

It will appall you.

The smile of Death

in darkness doth gleam.

No net to catch me,

I hang by a thread.

I've lost my grip.

Now I am dead!

Finally at peace,

there is pain no more.

The battle is over.

I've won my war.

The darkness floods in,

once and for all.

It rings the bell

and says "Last Call!!"

Gratefully I go.

The end is in sight.

Voices that Talk

Day or night, Dark or light,

To the left and to the right

I hear them call.



Voices I hear but dont understand

No shape, no form

Just my outstretched hand

Groping at nothing



I cover my ears yet hear them still.

Trying to silence them through shear force of will.

Voices are deafening inside my head.

I pray for quiet and wish I were dead!



I close my eyes, into darkness I go

Searching and searching, for what I don't know.

Voices they follow me to the end of the line.

One more step, I'm out of time.



Into the darkness warm and secure.

I've fund the answer, of this I am sure.

To silence the voices, I've found a way.



To peace, death eternal;

The voices are gone to play!
