I’m touched by your presence,

In my heart,

The infinite void of loneliness,

Whose walls have been torn apart.

You make me reason,

You make me feel,

If you are to leave me,

My essence you would steal.

I would sacrifice appendages,

I would shed my own blood,

If you would rain me with kisses,

Your attention over me would flood.

Death you have cheated,

Father time you have fooled,

The ice caps of hell,

Your presence has cooled.

You’ve made me feel feelings,

I’ve never felt before,

Rotting away my integrity,

Destroying my inner core.

Vast emptiness invades me,

As happiness fades away,

Nothing good is left to see,

Shattered remains of a day.

My vision has escaped me,

I have nowhere left to turn,

The direction of misdirection,

Caused as my entrails churn.
