i always believed you could

take the kid outta the fight

but never the fight outta the kid

But today i was corrected

im gone,this kid has lost

to the extent where she drowned

drowned in her own blood

new to see, just this time

that hand had more fear and less fight

for she went to deep

just a little but thats all it takes

such a small girl couldnt have caused such a mess

so much blood on those white tiles

and in her hand,her now so lifeless hand

lay her 'happy blade'

i hear you ask why i mention such things

because if i let you take the fight outta me

there would be no white tiles in my bathroom tomorrow

but would it cause you any sorrow?

The imagery is so vivid... I can feel my heart twinge as I imagine that once confident hand holding a blade to her wrist scared and unsure...

Makes my heart grow heavy reading it.
