Weight. Why is this such an issue?

Why is America obsessed with skinny people?

Why is thin in in our culture?

I am a not a skinny woman. I've come to terms with this. I run almost every day, I don't really eat unless I'm hungry, and I just eat until I'm full. But, alas I can't seem to loose my tummy. I have a curvatious hourglass figure with a tummy. I've always had one and I've tried alternative methods-everything short of surgery-to minimize my stomach in order to look healthier, but alas it won't go away. And I've more or less come to terms with the fact that I won't ever be below a size 11. (although I am currently a size 16)

And now my question is...

What the fuck is wrong with that?

I'm bisexual and I happen to love bigger women. They're called love handles for a reason. You grab onto the love and you handle that. Marilyn Monroe was a size 13 and the first woman in Playboy. How pretty was she? And Bette Paige? What happened to the adoration of those women? I don't want to be afraid that I'll break anyone-man or woman.

Ugh, if you like skinny people that's your bag. And I'm not saying that skinny people aren't attractive. I'm just stating that I find people in all sizes attractive so I don't understand why people have to rag on me for my weight.
