Technically, it's already possible to have a pet at your camp. There's a perk you can equip that allows you to pacify animals if you point your gun at them, and certain ones will then make their way back to your camp. Mega Sloths, Deathclaws, even random cats you can find in certain areas. The issue is, they have to survive the trip to your camp, walking however far away it is with any enemy they come across having the ability to kill them. Once they're in your camp they're good, but getting there, especially if it's a good distance away, will more than likely kill them. So it's not something you see very often. I have a friend who had a Mega Sloth at his camp for awhile. I'm curious if you could tame a Mega Sloth baby, but they seem particularly fragile since every one I've come across has already been dead. I'm sure the added pets will probably be limited to boring dogs, and that sucka since you can already have a fucking dog. I have a robo dog so... What else ya got? I've also got a bunny, a fish, some bees and butterflies. There was a lizard at some point, but I never got it. So we've definitely seen camp pets before, it's not some huge new revelation. Guess it just depends on what they give us.
I'm wondering when we're going to get vehicles. You come across quite a few motor bikes laying useless around the world so they're already modeled. Personally, I'd rather ride some sorta vehicle than fast travel, but that's just me.

It still blows my mind when I'm in 76, in an event doing my thing, and someone decides they feel so angry and threatened by me that they come over, and actively try to stand in front of me. Like deliberately trying to block me. You realize this is an online multi-player game... and people are simply going to be better than you. Why so serious?
I had a run-in, as I often seem to do, with some little level 500+ bitch in power armor. I wasn't trying to outgun him, I wasn't trying to kill-steal, I was simply playing my character, simply shooting. I'm sorry that my automatic out-shoots your cute lil flamethrower. I like the flamethrower, it's a decent weapon, absolutely no range. When going into events, if you want to be competitive, you need a competitive weapon. The flamethrower just doesn't cut it. So... you want me to sit back on my heels, and allow the enemies to run up on you so you can kill them? When I could just, I dunno, shoot them from much further away. I should sit back, and allow you, Mr. Level5fucking00, some kills. I gotta say, if I had to rely on other people holding back... I'd change my character up a bit. Cause that's fucking pathetic. Especially when you then have an adult baby tantrum, and literally feel like you have to body block me. Which doesn't even work. I have max agility, and a jetpack... Oh, you made me move, good job? Not stopping me from killing anything, but hey, you tried, I guess? I dunno, if at level 500 you can't hold your own, on your own... that's not something changing your character can fix. That's a you problem. That's a personal skill issue. It is flattering though, makes me feel especially OP when people go out of their way to try to sabotage me xD Imagine being this big badass looking dude jumping up in front of the tiny pink blonde girl... because she's stealing all the kills xD That's the thing, I'm not TRYING to do it, I'm not deliberately trying to make anyone have a bad time. But it is what it is. If you feel that strongly about it, change servers. If you piss me off, imma follow you, and make your life miserable💗
Seriously, it's not on me to balance the fucking game, to hold back, and hold your hand so you get your XP. Nah. That's MY XP. Gotta a problem with that? Take it from me. Or take it up with Bethesda. The entitlement just fucking gets me. Like, "Well I'M trying to level." Yeah... yeah, so is LITERALLY EVERYONE. The level 20 guy, and the level 5000 guy, all trying to level. Your point?
Also. To the many people who have doubted me...

Baby Mega Sloths exist in game. Whenever I tell people this, they never believe me. Proof. I've never actually seen a living one... and they're extremely rare. But they're out there~
In fact, there are TWO babies laying here next to this dead Yao Guai.
20240926-201818
I'm hoping to see a living one... some day.

So one way I've found to grind out different legendary mods is to craft legendary equipment yourself, this especially works well if you have a ton of legendary modules, and scrap them down. If you end up in an event where you get a ton if guns, such as Eviction Notice or Beasts of Burden, take all those, give them the random legendary mod upgrade, scrap them down. Actually getting a legendary mod is somewhat rare, but you will start stacking them up the more legendaries you scrap.

I'm not really looking for anything specific so it all goes out for sale, one of the few things that I'm not outright giving away. I kept Inertial because I remembered it having something to do with AP. It actually replenishes 15 AP per kill which isn't bad, but I don't think it's worth replacing my current two-star legendary which gives me +50% critical damage, especially when I have Grim Reaper's Sprint which regularly completely refills my AP on kills. Like I've said, I don't think I'd mod my gun any differently. Most people prefer their two-star to be explosive which only really gives you slightly more base damage obviously from your bullets exploding. With my build it's more beneficial to have the extra crit damage when I get a crit every couple seconds. That just makes more sense to me.
I'm inching my way up to 900.
20240924-223406
I haven't been playing much, maybe a couple hours a day so I try to get a couple levels a day. If I hadn't missed most of double XP weekend I'd be there already, and I'm going to be gone all day Saturday/Saturday night so I probably won't get there before October 1st, but we'll see~

Here's the issue with Dragon Age, and Mass Effect has the same problem: These are not games you play for the game play. You need to realize that going in. Dragon Age and Mass Effect are 100% games you play for the story, more specifically the characters. This is where Andromeda fucked up royally. I could tell you the name of every crew member through Mass Effect 1-3. I could not tell you a single person in Andromeda. Because the characters in Andromeda are not compelling, they're not interesting, they're very, very bland. You couple that with the very basic shooter style game play in incredibly repetitive set pieces, it's just bad. It's repetitive, and it's basic in 1-3 too, but the characters, and story are phenomenal. Dragon Age is the same thing with Inquisition being the real gem of the three, in my opinion. A lot of people complain about the fighting style in Inquisition, and it just reads to me that they tried making it more turn-based, more D&D, and I personally don't mind that. God forbid you should have to think about what you're doing in a game instead of just mindlessly slashing everything as fast as you can. Those gamers annoy the shit outta me because they whine until every game developer out there makes a game you can just smash, and roll through. I like strategy, I like using my brain, if you just want to mindlessly press a button then stick to mobile games, there are plenty. Even in Fallout, you've got the idiots who just want to mash to blow everything up so if you're like me, you have to figure out how do you outplay these idiots, how do you place yourself to outgun them, how do you outsmart them. I will give more props to the Fallout devs, they are trying to fix this explosive bullshit, I've noticed now within the last couple updates that enemies now, when blown up by some asshole, have a secondary healthbar so when some big idiot thinks he's going to take every kill away from everyone else by immediately
blowing everything to Hell, doesn't happen anymore, you still have the opportunity to shoot it. So I'm glad the devs are seeing the issues, many things I've been complaining about a lot xD, and fixing them, or trying to anyway.
Anyway xD
The thing I'm worried about with the new Dragon Age, will it's characters hold up to Inquisition? Because I loved every character in Inquisition, except for Solas. Guess who's coming back in the new one? Yay, it's Solas... Look, I've tried on multiple playthroughs to get along with that little magical bitch, but everything I say to him pisses him off. He's an elf who hates anything elfy. He has absolutely no sense of humor. He's a real buzzkill. He's just very unpleasant, I don't like him as a character, and if he is some sorta like... punished, forsaken, misunderstood god in human form then maybe you're not meant to like him. Usually the broody mage is absolutely my type, see long-time love of my life Raistlin Majere for example xD, but something about Solas rubs me wrong, and I can't help but think that's intentional.
As for Mass Effect, I wish they'd go back to Andromeda, and fix the issues instead of going back to Shepherd. Like most people, I love Sheperd, he's tried and true, he's an excellent protagonist. But his time is done. Don't desperately try to fix your dying franchise by going back to what works. Fix your fyck ups, and make Andromeda what it could be. Because the story is there, it just needs better framing. Ryder could be a new Sheperd if you put them in a less half-assed game. No one will ever take Sheperd's place, but I think it's a mistake to run back to him.

One of the quickest ways to completely unhinge me in 76... Eviction Notice. Here I am standing by the Rad Scrubber. The Rad Scrubber is the most important thing in this event. Your purpose in this event is to protect it. If it goes down, because you're being attacked by a hoard if Super Mutants trying to take it down, you have 20 seconds to get it back up. So this is generally my position, next to it, so if it does go down I can quickly repair it. I've seen many tries of Eviction Notice fail due to no one repairing it so I take that as my own personal responsibility. Also because I'm a higher level so I can take repairing it while being attacked. Usually. Occasionally I do die xD But only when a fucking Firestarter sneaks up on me, and full force blows me the fuck up. Anyway. Back to the unhinging. The Super Mutants spawn in from various places around this event, and to Bethesda's credit I've noticed they've buffed up the number of Mutants who spawn within the last update or so, so good on them finally making events worth going to. One of the main hot spots that these Super Mutants spawn in at is the top of the hill here that I'm facing. And one sure-fire way to really piss me off is to sit at the top of this hill, and kill every mutant that tries to run down, blocking everyone else waiting at the bottom from getting any hits in. It's bad 76 etiquette, in my opinion. It's basically spawn camping, and we've been over how annoying that is. Sure, there are other places to get your shots in, but this is a main one so sitting at the spawn, hogging all the kills like a huge fucking douchebag, it's extremely selfish. It forces me to immediately go up the hill myself, plant myself strategically in my stealth armor, and shoot everything that spawns before these assholes even know what happened. And vigorously thumbs up emote at them until they take the fucking hint, and move their ass elsewhere. I hate being the bad manners police, but like... stop it xD Don't piss the level 886 off. It doesn't end well for you. And a lot of people will tell me that these games are full of kids so what do I expect... In my vast experience, I've met many more adults than kids in 76 so you really can't blame it on age. Like I was reading on Reddit last night about people complaining that the Nightstalker wendigo gets completely immediately obliterated, usually before people can even see the damn thing. I'm happy to hold back on it, to tag it, and let everyone else get a piece. The issue is that there's almost always some asshole racing me there to be THE ONE to kill it. So I end up being the THE ONE asshole who kills it to keep it from that guy xD It's a vicious cycle. Same thing with Eviction Notice. I don't try to crit every Super Mutant to kill them as fast as possible. With my build I get a crit hit about every 2 seconds. So I could. But I like to give other people the chance to get their shots in. But then I'll get someone literally fucking pressed up beside me trying their best to insta-kill everything because I guess it's the only thing that makes them feel like a man. So I end up going all out anyway because of that guy. Don't be that guy. That guy sucks.

I was standing there next to Iji, and I noticed... the sky can't seem to decide whether it's day or night. It's blue skies, and sun to the right, darkness and stars to the left.
I've gotten the sense that the Land's Between may be much more literal. It's said that many forms of death are drawn there... What if it's the Land's Between Life and Death? Everywhere you go, especially in the Shadow Realm, you're reminded of death. Graves, tombstones, cemeteries, everywhere. For a place that for the longest time had Death sealed away... it's been very prevalent to the world even still, Death is drawn to this place despite being so-called sealed away. What is it to be dead or alive in Elden Ring? What is it to be tarnished? So many, if not all, of the tarnished are outsiders to the Land's Between. When you stand on the edge of the world, it's nothing but fog. Maybe only certain people can traverse the fog, much like the gypsies of Ravenloft. Or people who are called there. But why them? Why the player character? It reminds me of Dark Souls 2, how the intro cinematic shows you fucking time-traveled to the time of Drangleic, leaving your life and family behind. Never explains why. In cut content it actually shows that you were supposed to have known the Emerald Herald when she was a child so it would make sense if she brought you there later. But... they cut all that out. Pretty shameful. I need to replay Dark Souls 2 and 3.

One thing I'll give the new legendary crafting system, I do like being able to scrap legenderies which is something you previously could not do, but you can also sell the legendary mods, and for a pretty penny. These are the baseline, game recommended prices, obviously the higher stars, the more it's worth, but not always necessarily the case. For example, Quad is a one-star legendary, but it's a highly sought after mod since it quadruples your ammo capacity, so I'd charge a lot more if I got my hands on that. But these are pretty basic bitch mods. I got lucky, and found a container with 300 stimpacks just sitting in it. It may sound selfish to take them, but I personally don't use basic stims, I use the supers so I always take the regulars, and distribute them out into various donation boxes, and of course keep a few free ones in my vending machine. I've noticed a lot of higher levels hitting up my vending machine, and attempting to take everything free in it... And it's just an asshole move. My camp is parked next to the starting area so newbies can come in, and get some freebies. Higher levels know this, they don't need free stuff, so I'm pretty sure they take it just to be jerks. If you need something, and at level 500+ why you'd need to be given ANYTHING is beyond me, but my vending machine is generally loaded down. You don't have to take it all. You could take some without taking it all, and some people do, some people genuinely just grab a few thing, I'm fine with that. But when I see someone spam buying everything, and yes it alerts me when that happens, I close my camp up so fucking fast, not today, bitch. Like anmo. I only use 45s so literally any other ammo I find, I put it out for free, and you'll get some bitch-ass level 1000 swooping in trying to take it all. I know you're not using all that. I know you're probably hoarding it for your ammo convertor. The ammo converter, self-explanatory, converts your unwanted ammo into whatever you want. I personally find it useless because it takes so much ammo, and you don't get hardly any in return. It's good when you're starting out, but when you're going through 1000 rounds an event, it means nothing to get a couple hundred from it for like 10,000 of something else. And you can't sell ammo. So I'm good with giving it away. But people who take things they don't need just to cram it into their scrap box, fuck you, let someone who needs it, have it. I would NEVER go around to camps looking for free stuff. I never did it as a lower level, I sure as fuck wouldn't be caught doing it at almost 900, that's fucking pathetic.

Whenever any mutated event pops up, and the enemy mutation is reflective...
b330b82192f88ddbd0e00bbe82bb50d5
No. Just no.
When enemies are reflective... it means they reflect your own damage to them back onto you, very rubber vs glue. They actually blink between being reflective and not so it's safe to shoot them when they're not, but when it suddenly switches to they are... Well, you can imagine when you're using an OP weapon, yeah, my weapon's damage reflected back onto me kills me in about two bullets xD And it switches so fast, and technically the enemies are supposed to glow when they're reflective, but it doesn't always work out like that. So I generally end up dying in any reflective mutated event. A lot of people do. So I tend to server hop when it pops up. I server hop a lot anyway... Especially when I'm trying to level. You ain't fucking leveling from Tea Time or Feed the People, and those events are so boring. I keep hoping they'll add more solid events, but... They added the one, which is fine, it's not particularly great, but it's fine. They added the whole caravan system which I personally haven't participated in. I'm not interested in running my own caravan, and I don't see much benefit in protecting them. I'm the kinda person you have to specifically ask me if you want my help. I'm not just gonna show up. Unless I know you, then I'll probably pop in just to harass you, because I'm Bunny, it's what I do~

People get hilariously unhinged when it comes to events in Fallout 76, especially when you kill things so fast they can't get a single kill. The tantrums I've witnessed. And the thing is, I'm just playing my character. Not sorry I have a nearly level 900 character. Just because you have a higher leveled character, people tend to have this entitled expectation that you should hold back. I don't know why. I mean, if you're level 200+, you're fair game to take care of your fucking self, don't look to me to let you kill shit. Nah. I was in One Violent Night earlier tonight. Usually in One Violent Night I opt to stand back, and play the instrument part of the event, allowing everyone else to get the kills. Usually I'm good with that. But I was about to get off, and I was super close to level 876 so I decided one more event to push it over, but I'd have to be killing, and the lot of what you kill in this event are ghouls which are inherently easy to kill anyway. But I'm up on the roof, picking them off when some idiot decides to come up right beside me, and start launching grenades at them. Complete overkill towards enemies that take maybe two bullets. This is a person deliberately trying to piss me off. Unfortunately, the grenade launcher is slow as fuck so every time he launched, I'd already killed what he was aiming for xD So he wasted his ammo basically. And then the Nightstalker spawns, and we've been over this how everyone on 76 wants to be THE ONE SINGULAR PERSON to kill the Nightstalker. Don't ask me why. I knew he was going to fucking go for it so I went hard into it, and it was already dead by the time I heard the whistle of his mini nuke beside my head xD I dunno if he was aiming for the Nightstalker or me, didn't matter, didn't hit shit. The fact that he even tried using a mini nuke is just... pathetic. Pretty desperate. And also very dumb considering it takes a few seconds to land, you gotta know I can kill that thing way faster than your cute lil nuke can get there. And this is every fucking day people exactly like this.
They did fix the drop rates though. So I'm no longer worrying about acid or my ammo supply. Like I've said, something always breaks with every update, you learn to roll with it, and hope eventually it gets fixed. At least this only lasted a couple weeks. I did a little playing around with the new Legendary crafting system. Basically, you can now scrap legendary equipment for a chance at getting a legendary mod.
20240917-220819
Which you can then replace any similar existing legendary with.
20240917-220857
So if you have a one star legendary mod, you can replace it with another one star if you own one. So you can make any weapon you want, but you still have to get lucky enough to get the particular mod you want. I dunno the rates for them from scrapping, but I've been scrapping all of my legendary equipment lately, and only got the two so it's not particularly common. I don't intend to mod my gun in any way, but if I could get the faster AP regen on all my armor, that'd be nice. The problem with that is that it's awesome when I'm in my proper armor, but if I then switch over to my Stealth Armor, my AP regen is abysmal. The good thing is that I only use my Stealth Armor when I need radiation protection, but unfortunately that's usually during Eviction Notice when I really, really need my AP on point. I'm always open to playing around with my armor because I'm sure it could be better. Being completely immune to fall damage is pretty nice though. Sometimes I scare the Hell outta people by running, and jumping off crazy high places xD Then they try, and... die, obviously. Totally not my fault~

Well... unfortunately due to the busiest weekend ever I didn't get much out of the Double XP weekend in Fallout. Because real life. It just HAD to be on a weekend where I wasn't sitting around doing nothing, I literally did not get to play all weekend until tonight, and only got up to 869. But I made a new buddy. He messaged me asking if I'd help him launch a nuke because apparently he'd gone through a silo in another server, and got disconnected just before launch so wanted someone to help him quickly get through. Boy, I just love playing the mercenary bodyguard xD I really don't mind, I could do a silo run in my sleep, could've just gone and done it myself, but he's only like level 100 so the XP is especially good for him. He wanted to do Wendigo Collosus so I aimed it there. Not a hard boss, probably the easiest of the four. Strangely, only two other people showed up to fight with us, usually you get several so four is... not ideal. I've done it with less, and honestly though the fewer people there are, the more intense the fight is because boss fights are timed, and if you don't kill them within the time limit, quest failed. This isn't a big deal for someone like me who has killed this thing 200 times, but for someone new, it's a bit harsh. And this fight came down to the fucking wire, to about... 50 seconds left wherein the Wendigo Collosus was desperately kicking me, and spitting on me, and I was just not backing off xD There's a point where you've wasted too much fucking ammo to let something live, and new people never know to bring enough ammo so when there are only a few of us, and everyone else's ammo runs out it's always eventually down to me because I carry at least 15,000 rounds ay all times like a crazy person. At the five minute mark it still had 1/4 health left, and I had absolutely no confidence in taking it down. But it happened. Much shrieking, and swearing later, it finally happened just in time. I would've personally felt responsible if we couldn't do it even though there was a level 879 there, him and two level 100s, still, it would've been really embarrassing for someone to ask me for help beating this thing, and then... not doing it xD The problem is that in the fight smaller wendigos are constantly spawning in, and attacking you so it takes your focus away from the boss who is already an extremely tanky motherfucker. I've seen people melt down his health in like a couple minutes... I dunno, I can only imagine it's a hacked weapon, but it also takes all the fun out of the fight when one person basically does it all instantly. Like, why even bother?
Speaking of ammo... One of the changes they've made recently, like I've mentioned, is they've lowered the drop rate from enemies by A LOT. And for the most part, it's not a big deal. Until I realized, oh, I'm burning through my ammo making supplies very quickly. To make .45s you need gunpowder which consists of acid/cloth. Cloth is easy to find, you actually can get it from books, and there's a town with a house full of books to scrap. The acid is a problem. Previously, you'd get quite the acid drop from events like Moonshine Jamboree, from the acidic Gulpers. Not anymore. Not nearly as much. Not enough. You can buy bulk acid, but I'm already buying out lead which is fairly expensive. I have a butterfly sanctuary at my camp that produces acid overtime, but not nearly enough. I just don't understand lowering the drop rates. Or if it's some kind of glitch maybe. It's making keeping my gun in ammo a miserable process, and I refuse to use another weapon. Seems like everytime they fix something in this game, something else gets worse💀

Maybe I'm going crazy... but I don't remember these women being this HUGE.
I'm pretty sure last playthrough they were much closer to my size.
Right? They're definitely bigger💀
Dominula Village has always peaked my curiosity. In Latin domi translates to home, and nula translates to nothing/nonexistent. Nothing or no one at home? Which is interesting considering thos town is infamous for a certain festival where apparently the women skin all the men, and it's speculated that said skin is sewn together to create the Godskin garb. Nearby you'll actually find a fenced in area full of male nobles, cowering in fear as two Misbegotten look to be guarding over them. And even further you'll find a few more women near a bonfire body pile. All very ominous. For men anyway. The women are all laughing, dancing, having the time of their lives. Really makes you think🤔

It's a good day when I can out-shoot a level 2500 to the point of infuriating them enough to move away from me xD I'll never understand why people use explosive weapons. I can put 20 bullets in something before you can hit it with one fireball. Gtfo~

I've decided. Radagon/Elden Beast is the hardest boss in the game for me personally. And I've decided this because... It always gives me fucking trouble. At NG++ I've pretty much sprinted through the game to get to my last trophy to get my platinum. The only trophy left is the basic bitch Elden Lord ending. I am going to go through the DLC completely again, but I figured I'd get this done first, and out of the way. And every other boss up to the final boss are one and dones. It's kinda shocking actually how quickly you can book it almost straight to the end, you really only need to fight a few bosses, the bulk of the game with all the exploration, and npc side quests are totally optional. When you're not bogged down with all the extra, you can expedite it pretty quickly especially when you knlw exactly where you're going. That being said you should absolutely do everything in game, it's a whole experience. But at ng++, and over level 250... It's not necessary to go into things you've already done multiple times. And no boss in game gives me as much trouble as Radagon/Elden Beast. Which at it's base isn't a super difficult boss. Radagon can be taken down pretty easily, he bleeds easily so he's not the problem. The problem is the Elden Beast, specifically the fact that it's a little bitch who won't hold still long enough for me to hit it. My least favorite type of boss is the type that teleports to the other fucking side of an arena, and blasts you with ranged attacks. It's so cheap. They try to make up for it by giving you use of Torrent during the fight, but still, it is the most annoying thing ever.
Interestingly, the far background of the Elden Beast arena is very similar to the aesthetic of the Gate of Divinity.

But. Is this the home of the Greater Will? Or is it the Greater Will itself? It's interesting that there are NPCS who compare killing the Elden Beast to killing a god. But the Elden Beast is not a god. Radagon is not a god. Marika herself, while divine, is not a god, not really. All of these things, and these people, vassals and vessels of the real power, the Greater Will. But what exactly is the Greater Will? Is it a literal entity or is it simply a force of nature? That's a huge question for me personally. I think it's up to interpretation like most things in these games. The Greater Will is represented by Order. In opposition to it is the Frenzied Flame which is represented by chaos. The Two Fingers and Three Fingers together form one hand. They're meant to be together, you can't have one without the other. Is the Frenzied Flame a part of the Greater Will? Are they the same thing, two sides of the same coin?

The perfect spot to start building a spooky camp. I've always liked the atmosphere, and aesthetic of this area anyway, it's very misty red, and constantly thunder storming so I just need to figure my build out.
I'm not sure how I feel about the updates to 76 so far. They fixed the inventory lag which I greatly appreciate, I can now easily access my inventory dyeing events without lagging or crashing. When it comes to the new legendary crafting system... I don't like it. Being able to pick and choose your legendaries, it's just another step in taking the game away from unique to generic. I understand that a game, especially an MMO, needs to evolve to a certain extent to survive longer. Bethesda is obsessed with making the game accessible to lower levels. I did notice though, and maybe it's just me, bur certain enemy types do seem tougher. Scorchbeasts in particular appear to be buffed. I noticed this when I got caught off-guard by a two star legendary Scorchbeast, and it's beam actually fucking killed me. That didn't used to happen. Used to chunk off about half my health, but it killed me outright. So I set off to fight a few more, and they're definitely tougher. Another thing I've noticed is enemies seem to be dropping substantially less scrap than they used to. Usually a good run of Eviction Notice will get me over 1000 lbs of guns alone. Not anymore. Maybe they fucksd with the drop rates to compensate for making the legendary crafting much easier. Apparently now you have to get the specific legendary particles to mod that legendary onto your weapon. I think you get these particles from scrapping legendary equipment, something we were previously unable to do, and then there's a small chance to get a particle. I think. I'm not entirely clear on how it works, and since I wouldn't change a thing about my gun... I haven't played with it much. So it's not an instantaneous thing, you do still have to get the particles, but still. I'm not a fan. You can still do it the old-fashioned way, try to get a lucky roll crafting weapons with random legendaries until you get what you want. So I guess I just don't see the point of the new system😐
It's Mutation Invasion this week so... ya know. People get so irate at me during Moonshine Jamboree xD Like, my results speak for themselves.

You fucks can't even keep your stills good. And yet they still drift over into my area, and worry about mine, and get mad when I insta-kill everything that comes at it. THAT'S THE POINT TO KEEP IT SAFE. I'm completely over the whole holding back bullshit. There's one event in particular that perfectly incapsulates the selfishness of online gamers. There's an event that ends with a boss called the Nightstalker. It's a wendigo. It's an easy kill. But it never fails that EVERYONE wants to be THE ONE to kill it. Because before it even spawns in you've got people trying to gun it down as fast as possible before anyone else can get a single hit in. It's like 76 culture to be THE ONE to kill that thing. It's bad manners, in my opinion. Like why take that away from everyone else, especially lower levels. I can easily kill it in about two seconds, but I usually try not to. Unless I see someone higher going at it, then I kill it before them just because I can. One of my favorite pastimes in 76 is harassing people who are jerks, following them around in events, and killing everything they're trying to kill xD Don't be a jerk or Bunny'll get ya~

I never noticed this before...
Polish-20240904-031141838
But Miquella DID want to bring Godwyn back. An obscure ritual in Castle Sol, something that can only happen during a perfect Solar eclipse, specifically it seems can bring a soul back to a body. How very pertinent to Godwyn's condition being a living body without a soul... Miquella promised these poor people that if they completed the ritual, and got Godwyn back, they'd be welcomed into his home in the Haligtree. But it doesn't work. The perfect eclipse never comes. They're left there to rot. Godwyn remains the soulless Prince of Death. Castle Sol is a very curious place. Like many places across the Land's Between there are people here, the Albinaurics , who are considered less than dirt, and are tortured/murdered/experimented on. Miquella invited the Albinaurics to join him in the Haligtree so it's interesting to see them being treated so poorly in a place apparently under his command. Not a good look for you, Kindly Miquella, like so many other things. I've made it back up to the DLC, and it's quite different playing through it a second time knowing what I know, that Miquella is, and always was a fuck-face evil bastard. It's agonizing listening to Hornsent say he believes Miquella is there to deliver his people, yeah, he's gonna deliver them straight into death for his own benefit, he's no better than his mother, do not trust him. At least Marika half-way had an excuse for the thousands of Hornsent she slaughtered, Miquella is just a gigantic baby tyrant who can't stand being told no. Why would Miquella bring Godwyn back though? I had said before that Miquella making Godwyn his consort would make more sense than Radahn. Maybe at one point that was the plan, but he simply can't bring Godwyn back. But why not? If he could bring Radahn back... Is it because Godwyn is technically still half alive? Maybe🤔
I got so wrapped up in this I forgot about Fallout xD That's the thing about FromSoftware games, you can play them ten times through, and learn something new every time.

So here's another interesting thought about Miquella and Radahn... The Unalloyed Gold Needle. A creation by Miquella gifted unto his sister Malenia to keep the Scarlet Rot from eating her alive. But not only that, to hold back the God of Rot writhing inside of her. It was ripped out of her during her fight with Radahn, and that's when the Scarlet bloom... bloomed, fucking nuked Caelid. Did Malenia choose to do let this loose or did it simply explode from within her against her will after being forcibly held back for so long? It's hard to say. My question is... if Miquella and Radahn were so tight, why didn't Radahn go to him when he was infected with the scarlet rot? Get a needle, keep it at bay as long as you don't take it out. Obviously it's because Miquella sent Malenia there to kill Radahn. It's the only thing that makes sense. I think when they were younger Radahn had a promise with Miquella, maybe he took it serious but maybe not, and eventually decided he no longer wanted to honor it. It could be that Miquella had him charmed, and ir eventually wore off or maybe Radahn eventually saw Miquella for the evil asshole he truly was. For whatever reason, he turns his back on Miquella so Miquella sends Malenia there to kill him, knowing he can bring him back eventually, knowing he'll be easier to control if raised from the dead. I think this is why Radahn has nothing to say when you fight him at the Gate of Divinity. If I had been raised from the dead by essentially basically my murderer's brother, I'd have some things to say about that especially if that douchebag latched onto my back like a spider monkey. But he immediately goes straight into attacking, no words, like he's being controlled, he's just a puppet. We've seen elsewhere in game where people's souls are placed into puppets or where souls are taken out, and merely the body is used. It could be that Radahn isn't even actually in there, not all of him.

Waiting for the 76 update to download...
giphy-2
Looking at the season 18 schedule...
fallout-76-season-18-country-road-roadmap-bethesda-rpg
I read Fallout Day as Fasnacht Day, and was about to quit the game xD It's bad enough they've bumped that bullshit up to twice a year, we don't need three. Although it looks like they're bumping most major yearly events up to twice a year having just done the second round of Mothman Equinox, and seeing another of Invaders From Beyond. Because why come up with new events when you can simply run the old ones into the ground... Classic Bethesda. I am interested in seeing what the spooky Scorched bring this year. See, the spooky camp competition is kinda bogus for people who aren't long-time players because they obviously don't have access to all the Halloween decorations you get from spooky Scorched. They do generally add a few new things every year, but for the most part you get stuff from the spooky Scorched event which they don't even run til the end of October. We're coming up on a double XP weekend, and... yeah, I kinda don't think I'm gonna hit 1000 by end of December xD I'll definitely be in the 900s by end of September, I think. I'm at 853 right now, getting 2 levels a day over the next few weeks should be easy, and a double XP weekend should be an easy 15 or more within 3-4 days depending on how much time I have to play. I am going to be busy that weekend, but... We'll just have to see~
I've been listening to the radio programs of the older games. I think Black Mountain ftom New Vegas is probably my favorite.

Probably partially because Rhonda reminds me of the Joker xD
New Vegas and 3 both have good radio hosts. I dunno, Appalachian Radio just doesn't have the same vibe, Julie kinda sucks as a radio host. Like, I get that she's not a radio host, she's just some random chick who decided to get on the radio, but... It's the same with Diamond City Radio, it's not very entertaining to listen to. New Vegas as a whole is just best Fallout which is interesting since it wasn't developed by Bethesda... I do also love 3, 4, and obviously 76, but there's something about New Vegas that stands put above the rest. It's a shame there aren't any Nightkin in Appalachia. That's why getting to play as a Super Mutant would be so compelling because there are different types. You could technically do the same for ghouls, like what if you could become a Glowing One? We've seen, rarely, non-feral, intelligent Glowing Ones do exist, it is possible. It would just open up a whole world of character differences and uniqueness if we did have different "races" like a more fantasy style RPG. I think I read that Bethesda didn't want to go there with Fallout, but... why not?

There are very, very few games I'm willing to pay $70 outright for, and the remake of Silent Hill 2 just isn't one of them.
Because... The original Silent Hill 2 is the greatest most perfect scary game of all time. Bad graphics, controls, and voice-acting, it's still the greatest scary game of all time. Nothing has ever scared me like that fucking game, and it definitely won't be the remake. Sure, I'll play it eventually, but if you pay $70 to witness a story you've already seen and know and experienced... You're dumb. Like the Lollipop Chainsaw remaster/remake is only $40 right now on pre-sale, I think that's a much more appropriate price for a remaster/remake. But. Silent Hill is very popular now, especially with the million idiot "scary game streamers" out there. I just can't watch grown men scream like bitches over jumpscares, it actually physically disgusts me. The only developer who gets $70 from me, no questions asked, is FromSoftware. Otherwise... ehhh, it can wait. Like I STILL haven't played Baldur's Gate 3 xD I always say I'm going to play it, I know I'll enjoy it, but then I'm like, yeahhh, but you're still trying to platinum Elden Ring, and then there's Fallout, there's just no time xD Fallout takes up way too much of my gaming time, but they just keep coming out with more, and more new content. Eventually 76 will die, maybe several years from now, but no online game lasts forever. Fallout is in it's prime right now so I'm enjoying being there, experiencing it with other people who love it as much as I do.

I had a pretty hilarious encounter in 76 today. I showed up at Moonshine Jamboree, got in my usual spot, and started doing my thing. Until some fuckboy decides to jump up in front of me. And he's facing me so I know he's deliberately trying to say to me, "Hey, I'm blocking you." Sigh... So I move closer to the spawn point. It never works out for people who try to block me at my original spot, it just makes it worse for you because you're forcing me to move closer therefore I'll be killing things even faster. And again, Moonshine Jamboree has THREE moonshine stills to protect, there are other places to get your kills. After I move, I make sure I'm on the very edge of the rock I'm standing on so dude can't get up in front of me again, and he does try, he tries jumping up front of me several times all to the reaction of me throwing him some laughing and heart emotes. So he gets on his mic, "Leave some kills for the rest of us you son of a bitch." First off... I ain't a son of anything. Also, very importantly, from the moment the event started some motherfucker was launching mini nukes EVERYWHERE, at EVERY still, taking kills from EVERYONE, me included. Why aren't you getting in his fucking face? Why are you up my ass, on my one still, when there's a douchebag actively trying to ruin the event for everyone? There were over ten people there, you don't need mininukes, that's a douchebag being a douchebag just to be a douchebag. But sure, come at me. And this is the mentality that being nice to lower levels has created. They carry this expectation that no matter what level you are, if they're lower then you should hold back. This guy was in the fucking 200s, and he's whining, wanting me to let him have kills. Nah. At level 20, sure. At 200+, earn it yourself you whiny little bitch. People have this perception that your character gets more, and more powerful as you level, but you don't. There's no level cap, but there is a cap to the benefits you get from leveling, past 200-300 it's literally just a number. So I have the same power level as a 200. At that point it comes down to skill and build, and most people don't understand how to properly build their character. Sorry you suck, that means I should hold back? Nah. And it's pathetic for a grown man, or what sounded like a grown man, to even ask, and to pull baby shit like trying to body-block me. Sorry you brought a chainsaw to a gun fight xD This is why... Bethesda needs melee only servers. I understand wanting to use melee, it's fun, absolutely useless during events, things get killed by bullets much faster than you can get to it with a melee weapon. That's just the painful reality of bringing a melee weapon to an event with 10 people who are all using guns, it doesn't work. And throwing a tantrum when people won't simply allow you kills, it's like a kid getting mad you won't let them win. Grown-ass people acting like this. And people say, "Well they're gamers, what do you expect?" I don't act like that. If someone is annoying me in a server, I hop to another one, easy. I would never lower myself to asking anyone to let me get my kills. Fucking weak~
