he Halloween Contest is open to all members of the Fallen in Mysterious Light Alliance. It will run October 1st to October 31st and consists of several types of contest and trivia to keep you on your toes.
All answers MUST be sent to DarkSinAngel via message (blast answers will not be accepted) not posted in the thread or journal comment area.
TRIVIA QUESTIONS:
October 1st-31st there will be daily trivia question(s) provided by DarkSinAngel in the Halloween Thread in IVL as well as in her journal.
The Trivia Question(s) maybe be pertaining to Halloween/Scary/Thriller based movies, Halloween lore and legend and anything else pertaining to the Halloween holiday.
1-5 questions will be provided daily each worth 1 point.
You do not have to answer the questions the day they are posted...the questions will remain up and can be answered at any time up to the 31st at midnight PST.
SCAVENGER HUNT:
Each week during the Halloween Contest 10 images will be placed randomly throughout the Alliance. This could include sub-pages, main pages and of course the forums. Each 1 found will be worth a point.
The images that are out among the Alliance will be posted in the Halloween thread.
The Scavenger Hunt items will remain up for the week they are assigned only and will be taken down the next week when the new items go up in their random locations.
BEST DRESSED PROFILE:
There will be 2 categories judged for profiles: Premium Member and Basic Member.
Profiles must be decorated and entered no later then 11:59 (PST) October 25th. Profiles entered will be sent out to all Alliance members on October 26th and should be available to view until October 29th at 11:59pm.
Voting for best dressed profile will take place between October 30th-31st via a poll in IVL
Points System:
Points will be awarded for every correct answer submitted.
Trivia Questions correctly answered are worth 1 point each
Scavenger Hunt items are worth 1 point each
Best Dressed Profiles
1st Place= 20 points
2nd Place= 10 points
3rd Place= 5 points
For Contest period week Long Periods Consist of:
1-7, 8-14, 15-21, 22-28, 28-31
