It was a cool evening in April and Kara was heading home from running earns all day with Ail's friend Nick who had offered to take Kara in to town. Kara was dreading coming home only because today is Kara's 25 Birthday. She wasn't looking forward to send her birthday helping Lu take care of business.



what Kara didn't know is that James, Mike and Ali have been preparing the house for Kara's surprise birthday party. Lu sent out invitations while Kara was at work and Ali talk to all of their co-workers while Kara was on her break. All the bases were covered and the party was underway Nick only offered to help Kara because Ali needed her out of the house for the day.

As Kara walked up to the door with her arms full of items she asked Nick to open the door. He did so fully knowing that everyone stood waiting in the dark for Kara to walking. Keeping a straight face he nod to her to going before him.

As Kara stepped into the doorway the lights went on and everyone yelled happy birthday. In a bit of a daze Kara almost dropped one of the hags that has eggs in it. with the help on Ali, Kara was able to get the bags sat down safely. As the final bit of light fell Kara greeted her friends as well as Lu's friend who are vampire as they cam in. It isn't like Lu to miss a Birthday party for Her or Ali. Kara started to ask if anyone had seen him form last night or if anyone knew if had made it home before the sun had come up, but no one knew. As the night crept on and every displayed enjoyment even Kara was laughing and joking with everyone. Kara opened the gifts that where given to her, but yet still know sign of Lu. Even though Kara was enjoying her self she couldn't help but wonder if he was okay.
