A Glimpse
There once was a blond headed, blue eyed baby girl, who was the light of her parents eye. She was brought up to be responsible and to know right from wrong, although she tried very hard, from the beginning she knew she was differnt somehow. As the years went by, she grew into a long brown hair, blue eyed rebelious teenager, that was only comforted by metal music and horror movies. Although she had many friends she kept alot inside.People were always drawn to her for some reason, and at times it seemed the wind only blew around her, as the years went by, she grew more aware something was missing she really needed and she couldn't be truly satisfied without it, as she faded deeper in a black hole, she awoke to find a horribale thing had happened, her father was in a car accident, he was struck by a drunk driver. All the time growing up she knew this happened to people, but never believed it could happen to her family. As she stood by her father's bedside, watching him fighting for life, a part of her was dying. As she stood there holding his hand as he slipped from this life, a huge part of her died, and a new awakening had begun. Over a course of a few months, she noticed she couldn't sleep, something was drawing her out, a strong presence, the voice of a man calling out to her, a sense of belonging with this man, at night she would stand under the moon, and wait, it seemed he was coming for her. The need for him grew so intense she hit her knees at times and cried, a new hunger had come upon her, a need to taste and drink blood, she looked and waited desperatly for this man to come to her and guide her on this new found desire she needed, a few friends, special friends helped her to understand what she was and what she needed, she kept searching for information and a place where she could be open with all of this and not be casted out or looked down upon, she finally found a home, and a few people that could understand and accept her, but still something was missing, this man, this dark beautiful soul she needed so desperatly as a life partner still wasn't there, the need for him grew so intense, this need to be able to share every part of herself with this special soul, Alas she thought she had finally found this soul, only to be disapointed again, and she finally came to realize he will never be at her side, and she has accepted that she will learn all she can, and help and understand, and guide others, but she will go on to live out her life and responsibilties, and let the need for this one soul that can satisfy and share in all desires go and live the best she can.......
