Well, I don't have a drunk story to tell since I've never been drunk. However, I do have a story regarding an ex-boyfriend who went on a drinking binge while I was on a date with him and how things went from bad to worse on that date. This story takes place in October 2000 when I was 22 years old. Here's the story:





Well, my boyfriend and I were supposed to be going to a seafood restaurant in Baltimore but for some reason he decides to go to a bar called the Madhatter in Washington, D.C. instead. I didn't notice that we weren't going the right way since I was in conversation with him and I was also deep in thought until we were just about there. I wasn't happy about where we'd ended up but I decided to be a good sport instead of getting into a fight over it and I went into the bar. At first, things were going pretty well. We each ordered a burger and fries and we were chatting while we waited for our food. However, things went downhill quickly when he decided to order the open bar for himself. He tried to get me to order an alcoholic drink and then he tried to get me to have a couple of sips from his Bloody Mary drink and I told him no over and over. He didn't take my refusal well and he told his bartender friend that I was his cousin from out of town that he was chaperoning. The idea was that I was a baby because I didn't want to have something alcoholic to drink but I just chose to ignore his comments and I didn't let them bother me. He went onto consume three Bloody Mary drinks before the bartender cut him off and then he went onto consuming a number of beers. I lost count after about the 6th or 7th pint glass. The more he drank the more intoxicated he became and the more intoxicated he became the worse his behavior was. First, he threatened to dress up as Freddy Krueger on Halloween and come over and threaten my aunt. After that he tried to get me to go into the men's bathroom with him and do something with him and I said that I wasn't going to do that. Finally, he said that he had a room reserved for him and I to have sex. I said that I wasn't interested and he got mad. Then he said that he wasn't going to give me a ride to George Mason University where I was going to meet a friend there who was going to give me a ride home. He then called me a bitch, worthless and a man hater before he left. After having put up with all this crap from him including putting up with all his bad behavior and being stuck at this bar for 6 to 7 hours I'd just had enough and I called him an asshole before he left. I was upset because I had much less money on me than I'd thought that I had and I didn't know what I was going to do because I'd expected him to give me a ride back. I was worried that I was going to be stuck at this Madhatter bar in D.C. Luckily, his bartender friend took pity on me. He said that his friend was an asshole, that he got drunk and left his dates stranded at his bar and that this was not the first time he had to lend someone money so that they could get home. I called a cab and the bartender asked the cab driver how much it would cost to go from D.C. to George Mason University and the cab driver said it would be $25 so the bartender gave him $25. However, after I'd gotten in the cab and we were part way there the cab driver said that it was going to be $35 instead of $25. I told him that he had said before that it was only $25 and he said that he had made a mistake. Rather than keep arguing with him since I'd had a hell of a day, I just had him wait at the entrance while I asked to borrow the additional $10 from someone on the campus and then I came back and gave him the money. It was about 11:30pm by this time and I had awhile until i was to meet this friend who would give me a ride home. I was glad to have some time to myself to think about things and to pull myself together before my friend arrived.
