The occult is a dark word in most associations to me in how it is used so carries a stigma to it that I like that is like the challenge one must overcome in understanding arcane mysteries. 
Though the word itself just means "hidden" kind of like the word eclipse from the similar Latin root concerning the astronomical event. An occultist simply means one who works with the hidden forces in a broad sense; More than that it is the ones not capable of being measured opposed to the forces of nature like in physics that can be measured with technology like gravity. One can use the word metaphysics (beyond physics) in the same context but that word carries a more palatable association to most. The word "orientation" is based in the Latin root orient meaning the east where the sun rises. The mentorship crest was created from this principle. Many journeys begin in the morning so a glance at the rising sun gave one a sense of direction. Using a compass, the moon rise/north star at night or simply Googling Map Quest carries the same meaning in this context.
Thus learning the basics of navigating the hidden realm to go where you need in order to get what you want to is the foundation of this mentorship.

There are many layers to life and like Alice descending into the rabbit hole or Neo making the choice of the red pill in the Matrix one can get immersed too far and become lost. It is my endeavor to help guide pupils and provide them with the training they can rely on when they need it to help them find their own way. This site is open to 13+ age and so is this mentorship as any society should be on this site in accordance with the TOS everyone checks off on every time they log on. Many seem to appeal to the forbidden fruits as a lure but those things can be addressed from the hidden realm if one is awakened to it. Beyond that there will be assignments to complete, contests for sport and fun and games to enjoy.
