Heinz, a capable windsailor kisses his love goodbye and sets off to explore the outer reaches of Flatland on a Whopplesop. Soon enveloped by an insidious black void known as The Dark Entity, the pair find themselves in a very peculiar place without sun, moon or stars. It is lit by rainbow colored lightning and is a place where time can stand still. Thus begins a horrible nightmare for Heinz who discovers the Entity to be a black hell ruled by Garghost--a semi-transparent spectre who has five ghoulish disciples.
