Powergirl ... god! What a Hottie!

Power Girl's real name is Kara Zor-L, (or She with tiny breasts in Kryptonian). Powergirl made her first appearance in All Star Comics #58 (January/February 1976).

Ok, this is confusing for non-comic geeks...Power Girl is the Earth-Two counterpart of Supergirl, but with larger breasts and a white leotard outfit. She is also the first cousin of the Earth-Two Superman. Remember that Supergirl is Earth I's Superman's first cousin... I think.

The infant Power Girl's parents enabled her to escape the destruction of Krypton, on Earth II. Although she left the planet at the same time that Superman did, her ship took much longer to reach Earth-Two. Not to be confused with the Krypton in Earth I and the Earth I Superman landing in our Kansas. Remember, we're Earth I, they are Earth II.

Possessing superhuman strength and the ability to fly, Powergirl is a member of the Justice Society of America and the team's first chairwoman. Power Girl has a cute pixie haircut designed by Ralphaido, the gay Spanish stylist that manages all of the hairstyles of the Justice Society members. She also wears a distinctive white, with bits of red and blue, costume, and has an aggressive fighting style by first distracting her male opponents with her cleavage window in her outfit, also designed by Ralphaido and then proceeds with consecutive kicks to both kidneys, sternum and throat, in that very same order, followed by a left handed hairpull slamming the head into a right uppercut. Most of these moves require no superpowers at all but they look great when done professionally by an incredibly strong woman dressed in white underwear, and the infamous red cape. Throughout her early appearances in All Star Comics, Power Girl was frequently at odds with Wildcat, who had a penchant for uttering sexist comments that she found offensive, though she and Wildcat had a secret love affair off superhero stage, she continued to rebuff his sexist remarks in public.

The 1985 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths (which should have been burned in furnace from hell due to it's assinine writing) eliminated Earth-Two and rewrote Power Girl’s origin; she became ... get this...a granddaughter of the Atlantean sorcerer Arion. What the hell?? Why not just make her He-Man's twin sister? However, story events culminating in the 2005-2006 crossover Infinite Crisis restored her status as a refugee from the Krypton of the Earth-Two universe.

You know... the female DC heroes are great, even with their inflated breasts and all... but the DC writers just suck huge honkin dinosaur eggs! Where the hell is Alan Moore when you need him?
