Master of Mosquiton '99, based on Akahori Satoru and Negishi Hirosi's popular OVA series, Master of Mosquiton, is a Japanese vampire animation about a girl named Hitomebore Inaho whose grandmother was in love with a vampire. Inaho appears to be a vampire expert and is obsessed with money. She meets a vampire at an all-girls Catholic high school. The series take's place in 1999, whereas the original OVA series take's place in the 1920s. The location and story have changed as well. The beginning of every episode starts off with the theme song "The Power of Love" and "Good Vibration" and each episode ends with the song Chizu ni nai dekimasu. The series came out in 1997, and lasted for 9 volumes, 26 episodes.
