Also Known As: The Vampire Effect (in america release)

Director: Dante Lam
Studio: Universal Japan
Release Date: November 25, 2003

In this movie, vampires live in a church - there's an interesting twist. Among the regular bunch of vampires who feed on humans, one young vampire - a prince - falls in love with "food" - a mortal woman, who happens to be a sister of a vampire hunter. Thus he decides that he doesn't want to feed on humans any longer, and just like Angel (from Buffy) opts for packaged blood supply.

The main actions revolves around power-hungry vampire, a vampire who can gain some special powers by taking the essence of several vampires of the royal descent. He already had his way with all the vampires of the royal descent, except the prince who lives in the church and here the main battle issues with some flying kung-fu.

The movie is on the light side - no gripping action, nothing scarry, more on the light and humorous side, with some special effects.

I did expect to way more of Jackie Chan, who barely appears in this movie.
