Masters of the Universe: Classics: The Goddess utilizes the Teela mold with alternate head and Snake Armor trappings; emerald-skinned with darker-green attire, The Goddess is equipped with the Staff of Elders and buckler, and is accompanied by duplicate versions of the Corodite Armor, Hero Shield and Power Axe bestowed to He-Man. In the original mini-comic, The Goddess was in process of defending herself against a bear-like saber-toothed creature when He-Man, a barbarian warrior, overpowered the creature and rescued The Goddess. Impressed with He-Man’s strength and courage, The Goddess led He-Man to a cave where she presented him with power-imbuing equipment. The MOTU Classics version is named Sharella, and is classified as He-Man’s Trainer; Sharella is charged with the task of keeping separate the twin halves of the Sword of He and of the training of guardians, many bearing the title of ‘He-Man’, in that capacity.
