John Crutchley, is known as the "Vampire Rapist." Crutchley received the title after it was suspected he murdered over 20 people and then drank their blood. He was arrested after a 19 year old woman escaped his clutches, after he drank her blood.

He was recently found dead in his jail cell with a plastic bag over his head. The immediate cause of death was at first thought to be suicide, but investigators from Florida Department of Corrections now believe he died by accident.

They say he died from Autoerotic asphyxiation, which is where sexual gratification is achieved from a lack of oxygen. The form of masturbation caused him to suffocate. Prior to his death, John Crutchley, the "Vampire Rapist", had a life sentence.
