Synopsis for "Superman and the Numbers Racket"
Superman saves a confessed thief from committing suicide. The man is distraught over having gambled away his money. The next day, as Clark Kent, Superman sets out to crack down on gamblers. He visits the police commissioner who refuses to act on Clark’s concerns. Superman goes out and finds several gambling rings, destroying each. Within one of the gambling dens, a racketeer calls city hall for help against the Man of Steel. The police commissioner arrives, and Superman learns that he is on the take. Superman threatens the commissioner and the racketeers, forcing them out of town.

Synopsis for "Tex Thompson, Double Agent"
While vacationing in France, Tex Thomson is approached by a spy ring. He reports the spies to an agent of the French government. He convinces Tex to work with the spies in order to find out who they are. After delivering one set of secret plans, Tex becomes suspicious. When he is asked to deliver another, he alters them before turning them over to the spy ring. He then discovers that the government agent is part of the spy ring and is using Tex to help him. With the help of Bob Daley and Gargantua T. Potts, Tex is able to shut down the spy ring and expose the traitorous agent.

Synopsis for "The Terror from Saturn"
Zatara witnesses a man being abducted in a beam of cosmic rays. After rescuing the man, Zatara investigates and learns that a man from Saturn is responsible. Zatara is sent to Saturn, so that Ool their ruler can determine if Earth can be invaded. Using his magic, Zatara fights off several attacks. He then convinces Ool to build irrigation systems which will save Saturn and make the invasion of Earth unnecessary. Following his adventure, Zatara returns to Earth.
