Electric Spec is a tri-annual webzine founded in 2005 by four editors: Lesley Smith, David Hughes, Renata Hill, and Georgia Simonds. Electric Spec's goal is solely to publish excellent short stories in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, and the macabre that enable aspiring and established authors to demonstrate their skills and provide readers with a brief, entertaining respite from normal life.

Electric Spec is published three times a year.
