The Enchantress possesses energy-manipulation abilities and is capable of mesmerizing male opponents, such as the Executioner, her chief subordinate, into servitude. The Enchantress pits the Executioner against Thor, though she ultimately fails to defeat him (Thor). Exiled to Earth, the Enchantress and the Executioner are recruited by Baron Zemo as members of the first incarnation of the Masters of Evil, expanding the Enchantress’ list of adversaries to include Avengers. During the Ragnarok, the Enchantress is among the numerous Asgardian casualties, although she is later resurrected along with a handful of Thor’s adversaries.
