This is like an instructional drawing of a Dalek. The sort you might find in your Congratulations on Being The Doctor's New Companion Handbook right after the entry on what to do when you're inevitably captured. Cause that's your major plot function as a companion. (Yes, we love Eddie Izzard.) So anyhow. This Dalek. They even drew the illustration in red, as if to say, "WARNING: This thing's gonna try to kill you. If you see this thing, please stay away. Climb the stairs or something." Cause that at least slows the Dalek down while it gives you the lecture on how Daleks CAN climb stairs now, and if you paid attention you'd know that, and you aren't that clever a companion, are you? by which time you'd be out the upstairs window and back safely in the little blue box going *vworp vworp vworp* and waving to the Dalek out the non-existent rearview mirror. Because that's what it's all about.
