It has recently been announced that Pope John Paul II has died. If anyone has any messages to post about him please do. Even though I am not Catholic, I knew he was a great man, and he will be sorely missed, even by me. Plese share your comments about him here.

one of my earliest memories was a bust of Pope John Paul II that my mother had. i always wondered who he was.
Even since i lost total faith in catholism i have always liked John Paul. i am deeply sad to see a man as nice and wholesome as him leave us, but i hope that he reachs his god
