I heard the term alot on this site but i have no clue what it means can some one explain?

It literally means "hidden," and is often used to refer to hidden knowledge. This usually means things like magic, astrology, witchcraft, necromancy even supernatural.

I've heard many different explanations for the term. Never could firmly settle on one for a solid explanation though!

My personal opinion on the term is, If it has to be explained you will never understand. Same with several other things.

As this info can be found with a little research online, closing. Each person has a different answer, but don't see any form of a discussion coming out of this.
