it's almost like that episode of the family guy where lois tells the kids they aren't going to mcdonalds after what they did, and then peter completely takes over and says they can and destroys lois' disciplinary technique.
for christ sake... so it's been done before... it's not such a big deal. it'll either be RIP'd or lead a decent thread life and retire nicely.
would it not be better to at least follow the thread topic and to let others (who might not have been here when the last thread of the same topic was written) than complain about the topic in question.
as for the topic in question. i get the feeling that a lot of people are fake and want attention. there wouldn't be so many questions about love if most didn't want attention. and i must say that with the increase in members since i started it's pretty much getting worse in this sense.
VR is pretty addictive, but not as addictive as it could be. and as far as i know it's mostly the other peopole that lead one site to be addictive.
The way i see it, the more members there are. the more fake, attention seeking members appear, the more stupid threads we get... the less addictive this site will become.

but every good forum goes through this stage. i've seen it happen before. (incidently i was an admin and basically started a war between kids with ADD and the admins... guess who won ;) haha)
in short... the less people rip into random topics instead of chatting about it, and the more people that fill this place with crap and junk... the less addictive it's going to get.
