The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

This is for all who wish to know if vampyres are immortal or mortal. I had a vampyre friend pass away yesterday morning. So the answer is this...vampyres are born with mortal bodies which age and decay like the rest of humanity. We also can get sick and have colds. I believe in souls. This is my opinion only. The soul is the part of us that makes us immortal. This shell we exist in dies. But our soul lives on. No we are not Hollywood vampyres or role playing vampyres who can live forever unless staked in the heart or face sunlight. No, we all die. I hope this has not offended anyone. I needed to make this clear as I have experienced the loss of a friend, who was vampyre.

I am very sorry for you loss. Physically our bodies are all mortal whether we are a vampire or not. I do believe that the soul is immortal and goes on when our physical bodies die.
