i have heard storys upon storys about this location...if anyone has any storys or lives there please tell...the way i understand there is a haunted colledge campus a diserted insane asylme a park that bad things have happend in, there are 2 other locals & events i cant recall. the shape is that of a pentagram when lines are drawn on a map and is said to be a hot bed of activity.

I've heard a lot of stories about Athens Ohio. A few years ago there was a TV special about it as well.

The campus seems to have a huge amount of paranormal activity with no apparent cause. I've heard of people hearing voices to being physically harmed.

If I'm not mistaken there is a large population of individuals who practice the dark arts.

i only live about 5 hours away i may take a drive this weekend

My son goes to college there...I will ask him about what he has heard when he comes up for the summer...as far as the asylum goes I know it did exist but closed down quite a few years ago when I was younger...I don't know the stories behind it but would love to learn more.

That whole area around there is said to be haunted..not too far from there is a place called Tarr Hollow...it has been recounted by several friends of mine that they had been there and have said that it is indeed haunted.

So is it the entire area or just specific buildings that are haunted? I love ghost hunting, I may have to take a trip up there one day.

Well the area is rich in Indian burial grounds..not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Also not too far from there is Point Pleasant of the famed Mothman sightings.
