Numbers like π and roots of non-perfect square numbers and other special cases like i, have special purposes in math. I was wondering if anyone could think of examples of this use in any of the occult or vampire realms?

Interesting thought... although there are real numbers that have significance in the occult, in superstitions and in ritual practices, I can't think of any places where irrational numbers have significance...
...I just don't think advanced mathmatics are occultists' cup of tea...
Actually, the lines between Alchemy and Quantum Physics are becoming blurred - so the best place to use these numbers may actually be through that venue. The Alchemist/Physicist who came up with the exclusion principle was Wolfgang Pauli. He's also known for the Pauli effect.
That being the case, I wouldn't be surprised if Astrologers then followed suit.
Now I wonder if anyone could be an advanced mathematic studying the occult to find similarities in the their ideas?
wait...run that by me again?
I'm confused things like n and the italicized i is simply a variable put in place of a number
I'm confused as to what ur questions is...
could u elaborate?
well ok now that I think about it they could be like in a demonic language of somesort a written language IDK if I'm way off from your question but I'm trying to understand what ur thinking...
i is a numeric for imaginary number. Basically i symbolizes the square root of -1 which is impossible to calculate, and the n was supposed to be pi.
irrational numbers have no place in them. they are just too different and not quite our "cup of tea"
you can use them as a cute petname for a irational vampire.
"what a tart. oh dont dont look now but here comes 'n' now. speak of the devil"
It may be a meaning of confusion in the supernatural realm.
Have you heard of Fibinacci numbers?
It is a sequence of numbers starting with 0 then the next number then you add that number to the first and continure:
0+1 = 1+1+ 2+1+3+2=5, etc.

According to the Wikipedia, the cadence was used in rituals in Ancient India. Not the occult, but interesting.
I first heard of these numbers in the movie Pi. There is agood explanantion in the movie and in the Wikipedia article of how this sequence shows up in nature too.
A very interesting topic, irrational numbers in a realm that many conside irrational to start with, quite a parallel
I don't consider Astrology "occult". It's known as a science now, finally. And it's whole base system is mathmatical. Sadly, math is my worst subject, so I don't do the numbers by hand. They used to of course. Wow. Pc programs are excellent for mathmeticians. hahaha....
I don't think i have ever thought of astrology as occult.. I saw it more as scientific.. Do not ask me why, just never saw it that way.. Maybe because so many countries have many parts in it.. Like Chinese astrology.
There was a religion (whose most famous member was Pythagoras) who worshiped numbers.
