Is the iconic Bruce Willis movie 'Diehard' actually a Christmas movie????

I say no, it's an action movie with a sequence of events taking place during the Christmas holiday.
Half of the internet says yes; however, half of the internet says no. What say you?

It depends on how you define a christmas movie, is it a movie that is cheery and family fun or is it something that can be any genre but takes place around christmas?

If its the latter, then Die Hard certainlly qualifies.
