that is the nature of things it seems. With new technology, new horrors are brought to life, and we as people seem to try and develop in ways which do their best to avoid old problems, but bring new ones in their stead. Not creating the same mistakes, but repeating the same themes.

War, famine, plauge, death, all of these in every era, all in new ways of manifestation. We as a people are still the same as we were 20,000 years ago, only we have allowed ourselves to be domesticated. Losing the hunter, gatherer, and raw agricultural aspects to ourselves. the need to buy what others produce, instead of producing it for ourselves surrounds us. To live in a system where money is borrowed and we must pay back, and always living on someone elses dime and never our own merits.

That is the nature of man, unchanged, only our bondage changes, and the hours and conditions we try and bind ourselves to for a quality of life not had by other generations, which many parts of the world still do not yet know.

I feel we are beyond the control of the past and wonder what our vampirism way will bring to the future?

It would bring eternal youth and an unmatched form of survival.... Think the ultimate fighting force (when fighting at night ideally) composed of vampyre soldiers...they could'nt be stopped really.

As an energy vamp I can't help but think that our learning to manipulate and control the energy around us, will in turn open our minds up on psychic levels. We will learn how to manipulate energy for healing, communication and interacting with the environment. Making us higher more evolved and more mature beings that are more in touch with each other and the world around us. We will move with the energy flows of the earth and be a much more gentle race. Well I would hope any way.

Technically, the energies we have been using for "feeding" purposes are the same energies we use when it comes to the psychic influences of our "selves" as it were. We already use these energies on a day to day basis whether we are aware of it or not.

Personally I think the evolution as it were with the vampire whether physical, mental, or spiritually aquanted, working out the quirks is not a part of the evolutionary scale.

After learning what certain attributes are is not evolution, since evolution revolves around evolving from one aspect to another without the knowledge aquired from learning the basics.

Therefore, to say that the individual has learned new abilities has not evolved, but has simply gained a newer perspective as to what they are or have been capable of. A new enlightenment if you will.

Thus, countering repetitive ways throughout any part of history, would not be considered evolution, but progress for any individual.

I also feel that we repeat ourselves in history, yet we learn new perspectives on how to handle the repeat of that counterpart. whether it be good or bad it still changes in each era and each generation to a degree, yet still remain the same . If that makes sense. As to what will Vampirism will bring to the future... not much different from what the past has brought in my opinion, I mean we have wars in order to serve the economy one way or another and as for the Vampires to cause change I do not see it . They may cause people to become more aware to the race of humanity and the difference that each belief has otherwise I do not see much changing. just an opinion...

I think we like all others learn from our past mistakes and try to pass along that knowledge .The ability to use that knowledge to our advantage. That is not merely an evolution. The mind is what evolved throughout the years.

Some learn some don't there will always be conflict and peace. We have learned in some things. Biggest problem that I see now is apathy. people just don't give a shit or are just too damn lazy to get involved.

if we are indeed so beyond our ancestors then why carry on their traditions from centuries back? if we cannot live without traditions then it is high time to make our own.
