I've read many variations on this topic. It would be interesting to hear from some of the Sanguine and Psi Vampires. How often do you feel you have to replenish yourself...daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly?
HAHA I feel the need all the time. I just have no way to satisfy it. Hubby dear don't give enough
a enlightning topic, yet many need to feed i shall say for the energy of others is always a plus to our own phisical emotional state. for if they are up it seems that the more energy is expelled into the surroundings and giviing off good vibes to say.
should check out the post about psy feeders it may help you understand more.
Thank you for the advice Cadrewolf. I'm hoping there are also sanguine vampires who might have something to contribute as well.
blood is fun.. blood is dangerous..
its the thrill of the risk i think.. i do not believe anyone NEEDS to feed..i think some enjoy it as i do..but need ...i think not..
i feed weekly, haven't been fully satisfied yet... trying to learn how to get blood via syringes
i am a doner, but its so quiet where i live, there is nearly no one to feel, i like to be use full :)
How does it feel , to feed? is it a thrill , is it peacefull?
is it tasty?
I have a question, please *raises hand* Is this more of a need as in addiction or one of survival... or is it survival of an addiction? I always wanted to understand sangs better
yes it is a thrill.. a huge relief... it tastes so good... after i feed i feel that i can take on the world, even the next day at work my co-workers can even tell the difference
i believe it to be an addiction.. but cravings can make you feel sick... when i have my fits it does hurt, really bad... and being depressed as a part of the addiction process does affect your immune system, and general feeling of laziness/lethargic.. i also am always thirsty some say its from a lack of iron, but i just had a blood test done and my blood was fine.
but you know this could all be in my head... heh:)
also a good rule of thumb is that you give 1-2 weeks between your feeding for your donors sake.. to let them heal and replenish blood
Wow, see that seems way too intense for the like of me... but, I admit I would want to witness it
i havent had a really bad fit in a long time... it does get intense (curling up n the floor screaming) it take about a week for the bad craving to take effect... there are little ones that pop up every now and then but nothing to serious.. the really bad ones i mentioned before i havent had in a few months id guess it would take over 2 weeks of no feeding to take effect....
My craving's come and go. I have a pretty strong mind. I used to smoke 4 packs a day, then decided to quit, and I did. Sometimes the craving is like an itch in the back of my skull, sometimes it is almost overpowering, and no matter what I do, nothing will do, until I feed. Those aren't that common for me, but when they hit, and I'm "jonesing", I know I must feed, and feed soon. The last time I had a craving like that was about a week ago. Luckily I was able to slake my thirst.
As for what it is like. It is rather intoxicating. A real rush, to be sure. Sensual and warm, but not sexual. It can be though. Very satisfying. Blood has different flavors, just like food. Some donors are salty, some have a metallic taste, some are very sweet. Like any other addiction, if you dwell on it, your craving will just go up, and up and up.
The need to feed is different for different situations:
1. Energy.
2. Bloodlust.
3. Sexual.
4. Bonding.
5. Taste.
6. Satisfaction.
7. Control.
8. Habit.
9. Social.
It really depends on the situation really for me.. I mean sometimes people are hungry for different things aren't they and it is the same with vampyres.. Sometimes we are hungry and sometimes not..
