I have been thinking a lot about our history and some discussions have come up and thought that it would make for an interesting conversation between those here who may have some thoughts about the subject.

How many of us actually believe everything people tell us when it comes to what we are taught?

Does anyone stop and think that maybe stories sound a little too farfetched or inaccurate?

Let's take some examples here....

Ancient Egypt. Here we have Gods/Goddesses with animal heads (which represent their status or favored animal etc) Ah those must be Gods! Why? Some are starting to believe they have some sort of vampiric meaning. How? Truth and Logic seems to be getting a little twisted up.

Here's another question...How come out of all the stories written high on the walls mostly talk about the "Gods" or the lives of the people or slaves, but no where does it talk about HOW the pyramids were formed? Not to mention there's a huge timeline gap missing. Some kings are not recorded at all. Some lengths of the rule are not exact. Ancient Egyptians also had a habit of erasing (or sometimes not even recording) the names of kings that were unpopular.

How accurate are all these sumerian and ancient texts being translated?

People only want to teach you or tell you things that they WANT you to believe. It doesn't make it true.

Another example: The United States history.
Now for those of you whom has grew up in the states, and was taught about the Civil War...How did it get started? Most would be saying...It was over slavery.
Newp. That's not true.
It was over our textile industries and the Union that sparked the whole Civil War happening.

In 1858 Senator James Henry Hammond of South Carolina replied to Senator William H. Seward of New York:

"Without the firing of a gun, without drawing a sword, should they [Northerners] make war upon us [Southerners], we could bring the whole world to our feet. What would happen if no cotton was furnished for three years? . . England would topple headlong and carry the whole civilized world with her. No, you dare not make war on cotton! No power on earth dares make war upon it. Cotton is King."

Hammond, like most white Southerners, believed that cotton ruled not just in the South but in the United States and the world. Many economists agreed. In 1855, David Christy entitled his influential hook Cotton Is King. Cotton indeed drove the economy of the South, affected its social structure, and, during the Civil War, dominated international relations of the Confederacy through "cotton diplomacy."

I don't know about you but, when i was taking history classes, they didn't teach us that part!

Also if it wasn't for the French...we would have lost the war with the British.

"Land of the Free, Home of the Brave"? Our land was never free. We took it.

Our constitution talks about equality as it's written. “All Men are created equal." We pushed Natives on reservations and we had slaves. No equality in that.

Another example: King James version of the Holy Bible.
Sure great stories and interesting history. I'm not here to say everything about it is UNtrue however, it went through others before it was saught fit to publish. Which is why it's called....the King James Version.

So exactly WHY were certain things taken out?

Example:
Maybe something in the texts said...that no other King shall rule the lands. Can you see why a King would remove it?

So if these scriptures are being removed and taken out to what one see's fit...what does that say about our history in general?

Why should we believe in ANY of it as it's taught if we're missing a lot of evidence?

These are just a FEW cases and examples i've written here. I'm sure there's more.

Another example: Those that are teaching what it means to be a "vampire". I have read and seen some "symptoms" that is being taught for cases of those undergoing a "spiritual change or enlightement" which somehow effects the body.

Now if this is even remotely true....how come our doctors and medical scientists aren't going up to patients and saying..."oh you have the case of vampire syndrome, or oh you're just breaking out in acne on your body because you are going through some spiritual enlightenment."

I'm sorry but i'm not buying into a lot of this "hoopla" being said or going around cuz if i did, i would just be another sheep of the herd so to speak.

Your thoughts please....
