Copy pasta-ing a thread that I had made about two years ago, because this forum needs less sucky topics.
Has anyone else ever heard of and/or read them?
The work that Charles Fort [in the early 20th century], and I quote, ''... put together great quantities of exhaustively documented 'puzzling evidence' data which science is unable or unwilling to explain''.
If so, do you think that what he wrote was truly unexplainable by science?
Do you think there may have been other explanations to his views?
Do you think that science today might be able to explain some things that were unexplainable back then?
If you've not read it, they're found here.
My research into Fort shows that he was addressing how mundane phenomenal claims became. While science at the time may not have met the challenge to debunk all the claims, it was also Magicians who demonstrated the slight of hand, and trickery to duplicate what was passed of as mystical, or otherwise unnatural.
