Pretty well whenever I give advice, or make a suggestion to someone, based on an intuitive emotional response, I find that they already had an idea of the answer themselves. Yet, by finding the same sort of reflection that I do, they find what they’re seeking. So, what I’m curious about - “Why do people seek their answers from the divine, when a simple conversation can help so much?”
For a lot of people, I think it is this sense of a "higher, all knowing, all powerful" power. Thats my opinon on why people go to their deity of choice. I know I do.
Well, we do have divine prana in us. We can make conversation and seek answer ourselves. Our Conscous is always divine, though mind weird, but conscious if grown, controls the mind through inellact and this way our quest can be solved by conversation.
But to become our life and flow smooth, we do concetrate on divine that that exist and keep us away from bottlenecks which may come in our life as the may-wrong flow of energy flown inside us. Divine will help cleansing our future bad energies. and can help us to the extent from the bad cause of our past acts which may result in the future and divine may stop that.
This concetration on divine is in he form of prayers or meditation or any other forms.
To seek the Divine for answers is to seek within the nature of ourselves...as Venomstrings points out so well...:)
Sometimes...the answers we need from God are right in front of us and only need the conversation to reveal their truth to begin with...sometimes, even "we" are the angels amongst us unawares...
i hate this sort of answer...but why not?
a deity if one deigns to answer you may have a bit more wisdom and knowledge than bubba joe bob that lives down the street.
~W~
aye.. and 'bubba joe down the street can suplly the spark needed to ignite the fitre of illumination.
Maybe because we are unsure of the answer, but do not want to ask anyone else because we do not believe someone else will provide us with the aswer we want. Sort of like I have a number in mind between 1 and a million, but how many people are out there that will actually guess that number?
Or the other possibility..We have questions that noone has real answers to. We want to know why someone died, why something happened this way and not the other, why it was meant to be,.. In other words the meaning of life. Some may not be satisfied with 'merely' an opinion in the sense of 'I think..., because..' and want the real answer that noone can provide.
Or we want to know if 'God' exists.
Questions that transcend our knowledge.
well i believe people feel more better talking to someone face to face than rather praying for something hat might not happen
i dont belive in the devine but i pray to god to help everyday and upon receiving none *sigh* u r right, a conversation with a good friend helps alot more than speaking to someone/thing who has never uttered a word to me.
see, i have had experiences where i felt like my gods communicated directly with me (as goofy as i know that sounds). i dont discount it.
there is also the thought that prayer causes your subcounscious mind to wake up a bit and throw some different angles of ideas back at you.
either or, i look at religion this way....if im right....cool.
if im wrong...well, i had a hell of a good time doing what i do.
~W~
a good way to look at it.. though the statement I read a few respondants ago worried me, like their are any question that transcend our understanding?
aye, Now.. but, maybe not tomorrow.
Well whatever signals we send in the cosmos in the form of prayers or wishes, they do not go waste, coz we are only the string in this universe and the whole bola of this world it goes to search the information to the spot or string where information exist, just like TRNA containing amino acids seeks the information of its own on dna and catch the sets and take it back. these signal we send goes to the other strings and cores and spheres and when find the information or answer, get it then returns after taking information. We have to develop only the belief and concetraion. I believe this may work. I just put my opinion in this scientific way. coz divine is such the pure subject which need concetration only.
I see where you are coming from, as per the top post.
Most people are raised traditionally within religious families, hence they always look to the "divine" for guidance.
At times, the easiest way to figure something out is to reach out to others for advice, but some people are just too damned stubborn for their own good and seek out that higher power for more then just guidance. I have seen this far too often in the past.
I don't nessessarily discount that higher power, but if the feelings still sit unresolved and make the individual ponder, then of course... pray to that higher power, what ever you believe in, if it will give you the subconscious salvation and answer you are so desperately seeking.
In the end, the mind will give itself the answer but ask a question in return, then the circle begins again.
I am agree with you Honorable Soulshroud,
First we have to solve first and if not able then we have to go othersm even then we do not find answer, we should send its signals to the cores and sphere as if voyager 6 is launched...
“Why do people seek their answers from the divine, when a simple conversation can help so much?”
Some people feel that if we go to something bigger than ourselves for guidance or answers, we will receive a sign or something along the way to help with whatever is needed. Sometimes people GET that answer...they just fail to recognize it, while others pick it up pretty easily if one is trained to keep the mind open to all around them.
Caring and compassionate friendships are a must to all of us on this physical realm of existance. Having a simple conversation helps, but sometimes the best advice is when there is none given. Sometimes a simple moment of listening is all one needs. One can give advice, but that doesn't mean it's the best for that person and doesn't promise they will use it.
So I feel maybe this is why people open up to the "divine".
well.. the reference to Voyager 6 was well lost on me there..
I guess I'm hoping that there's a way we can talk to each other; talk & listen, instead of seeking something from 'someone' that may be.. just maybe, non-existent.
There are certain things some of us believe only ONE person know the answer too....but there are also some things that others know the answers too as well as that ONE Person
we all have our own chosen Deity.......just like we all have our own destiny......
I happen to ask for advice from others before I make my final decision cause who knows that some advice may be better than the things I've come up with
Hi all,
Ive been thinking about this a bit lately. I wonder if some of it is to avoid taking responsibility. If something doesn't work out, it is easy to shy away from blame by saying that the Divine was responsible. Somehow, people find it reassuring if there is someone else in control of the wheel, so to speak, and we can sit back and relax - knowing that if it all goes wrong, it's not our fault.
It's a scary thing to control our own actions, reactions and destinies. So why not give the control over to someone else.
Of course I realise not everyone has this motivation, or is even aware of it. It's just my musings.
S.
.. yet, it's all too easy to abdicate responsibility.
It takes guts, to be true, to onesself.
This has actually been a fairly difficult struggle in my own life recently.
I've been stuck in a period of my life where... I had remained a very confused and depressed person because there were just SO many things that I DID not and COULD not know the answer with the mindset I'd been in. I had believed that there were certain things I couldn't know unless I'd gotten the answers from some kind of "god" figure. I fought myself on this and am still fighting, really.
I had questions I truly felt I HAD to know the answers to before I could go on in my life. I won't go into detail because I'd write an entire book on it... But basically, I felt TRAPPED by not knowing these things that I thought I couldn't answer. I couldn't learn or think or focus. I was stuck in a moment in my progression and involvement and could not move forward.
It wasn't until I've started realizing that I have all the answers I need... But I just needed to bring them to the surface in my mind... Or maybe speak to someone to help bring them to the surface.
I kinda think people just want the answers handed to them... They feel like they can't possibly know the answers and that if they get them from anyone other than some form of divine figure, the answers are wrong. But many people don't realize that they trap themselves by thinking like this and that by simply letting their own thoughts and feelings surface, they would have all the answers they need, they could be free.
Angelus.......
We all accept responsability when we do make our mistakes.....At least I know I do......if you didn't you would be a walking contradiction......
I take the advice I believe would work in any situtation I find myself involved in........
We all know when we fuck up....or at least most of us know
Title asks whether we should take helps from divine? If yes, hen to what extent.
Our quest always processed in the brain sector by neurons taking the information of the subject and landing it to decode. much time the information signal did not obtain from own source of information.
Then we ask others this is too the sending signals which's information not rised in own mind. we take it from others. some one guide us do this this way.
In ultra modern present, some time we do not get information signal from other human too the answer we required and then quest remain the same...
what happen this time we should summon this sending signal to everywhere and go on finding the quest to every means, person and from the self.
This is the divine process for highly required informations. for this we should not stop on periodical analysis overlays till we get the out-put and we should avoid the inclemencies in getting the feed back.
Subject one: depression patient says my ear sensory corrupted and I do hear noises every time and peepal i find talking about me every time. he will come to me I will say "stop. you relax meximum, bring happyness inside, my inner and consciousness is with you, you need psychiatrist to help you to calm your mind senses with the medication."
Subject two: one of my friend comes to me and tell me frightening that he saw one ghost was gazing on him, that was not illusion he was in gross mind and very fresh and ghost was in light but natural colours but little thin mass I felt. this time i will not suggest him to go to doctor, I will tell him to summon that spirit not harm you & summon all goodside forces of the world to remain with you and rescue from this situation and give him the answer what kind of was that. If not harming, then what kind of reason the ghost was gazing on him. This is the divine.
For me it's a win win situation.
I believe we each of us have a spark of THE devine, so whether talking to a friend or God is pretty much the same thing.
Sadly, so many people lead busy lives, or lives onlne, that making and talking to an actual friend can sometimes be pretty hard.
... and, some build a wall, or wear a mask; so it's easier to look elsewhere. uhuh.
(Bows in utmost reverence)
I do agree with Her Majesty Sinora and His Majesty Lord Angelus.
We Should talk with consciousness then we can feel person behind the mask and this is what we make the union with that soul and there mask to his or her vanity do not disturb us. I do try to feel the person behind the mask and feel its consciousness coz consciousness is a good force.
quite possibly, but people perceptions and preconceptions too often get in the way of any tue understanding.
