I would like to know what your views on the chakras are?

This is actually a subject that piques my interest.. I'm going to read up a bit and will be back when I can make a more informed comment.

Actually at that link there is basically no useful information to hold a discussion of any kind. If you want to discuss chakras then we should really have a better source of reference than a course advertisement..

I agree on the fact that the shakra is strong, it can also be a weapon when someone knows how to use it for that perpous, but it can also be use to heal.

a book that might give a little more info is "Evolution in this lifetime, Kundalini and the Chakras" by Genevieve Lewis Paulson, it helped me out a lot with energy work.

Only the adolescence who play with what they do not understand think they can muster energies from the chakras in their hands, I have seen this done a thousand times, as they throw wasted energies at one another...As if they knew what they were doing. It may be good energy focus, but at that age it is all games of catching the wind.

If that was the case you were getting at with chakra weapons, than that theory is just that. There have been times when healers use this same technique to concentrate the patiants energies to heal them, and martial artists to damage.

As for the kundilini (spell check), it is a basic excercise for chakra awareness. As with any energy excercise, sometimes it could take years to even develope the voilet flame chakra that is so ranted on about.

I know a whole hell of alot about the chakra and the energy topics, thus this information is well learned as well as documented. But weapons as the invisible light saber, this is only fantasy for the adolescence as I have stated above. Only the serious need apply.

This is a wrong way to be looking at chakra work ~ period. IMO.

There are forms of energy work.. where one can cause harm.. a form of magick..
I will not go into that here. But it is much different from what has been mentioned in this thread.

I have known many who believe in this sort of thing but have never seen it myself..or even those who have done such.

My current housemate said she had an experience very similar to a Kundilini awakening, but for her it healed her of her pain and enlightened her.

I always thought that chakras were centres in the body for receiving and passing along energy, I've never heard that they could be used as weapons. And why would you want to do so?

That type of energy is on the same level of energy that Bruce Lee had mastered.

Bruce Lee mastered simple primeval striking techniques which yielded a possibility of infinite power. That was the basis of Jeet Kun Do.

Mastering the Chakras to use as an energy weapon "IMO" is just plain stupid. I've never been so base in my postings, but seriously? I'm sorry. The Chakras are meant to organize and align your body, physically and spiritually. Purposely throwing one of these chakras out of wack to use as a weapon is not only perposterous, but even if possible is extremely stupid as it is harmful to the native.

Bruce Lee taught that Self conciousness is a hindrence to all action. This means that mindfully inhabiting one portion of your body - i.e. one chakra - inhibits any further action. Where you might be able to concentrate your first or red chakra into a primal power or "light saber", all other chakras will suffer.

It has always been my understanding that the chakra's are energy centers within our body and souls that help us to balance, communicate and become intune with our true selves.
