99% sure I will be going on the cruise. My wife and I are vascillating over which cabin to book! We are also waiting until we get a commitment that our friends will be willing to watch our son while we are gone.

Still fun though. I'm opting for a couple hours on a plane.

We are driving because last time we flew was A) such a PITA that it took us almost as long from house to hotel as if we drove.

2) We got HAMMERED with excess baggage weight fees. That was on a "regular" cruise w/o bring our "goth" clothing, boots etc. Asking DAG to "pack light" just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Ahh true. I'm traveling with a female pal too, but fortunately she can just carry her own crap. I can pack a few outfits and 2 pairs of boots (wear one pack one, then bring tennies), call it good.

With regards to the cigar humidor I hope to be allowed to bring, it it approximately 16" wide, 10" deep, and 8" tall and should be able to hold about 75-100 of those Churchill size cigars that EveryGoesSour and I love to smoke.

I spoke to my sister the other night and she went on a cruise with a similar itinerary a few months ago.

She and her husband did the cave tube / zip line combo and said it was the best shore excursion they had ever done. She also said that through NCL they paid around $140.00 pp for this.

It is with great regret that I must tell all of you that DAG and I are not joining you for the cruise.

We had two cars die over the past week and as we had to 1) Buy a car. 2) Pay a bunch to fix another one we can not justify the cruise.

We had already paid in full but Z was able to get a refund and transfer our deposit to the 2008 cruise.

Looks like me and my roommate are going to be going. We just made up our minds last night, and booked our room today! (actually she is on the phone booking it now!) YAY! I am SOO EXCITED!!!!

BTW, we are coming in from Seattle. It will nice to have some fun in the sun. This will be both of our first cruises. :)
