i agree something needs to go on here in new york thats why im trying to get a camping trip together if you guys are interested i have a post up as well on this subject but again i agree with you guys we need something in new york

i have been wanting a meet up for sometime but hard to get everyone from Ny to post and agree on someplace to meet u know....

Well, at the moment, I am in Iraq until August. But if things work out, I'd love to see about attending some sort of event. The only issues to work out are time (when I finally get back to the US and whether I have to pull some sort of Staff Duty then) and transportation (no car at the moment, but hope to have one by the time I redeploy).

My wife and I reside in Fort Drum, New York. In the Watertown area.

I go to college right next to New York, but that means I'm only nearby between September and May. If we planned something before summer or during the fall, I'd be able to make it.

I would have to say that would be great timing..... but what to do.....

I will be in NYC May 19th.If folks are talking about meeting up in NYC there are plenty of places.Museum of Natural History,Metropolitan Museum of Art and Batcave on saturday nights.Not to mention,Central Park Zoo, or Washington Square Park...Just to name a few options suitable for a variety of time/cost/age concerns.

Just a suggestion....I wouldn't meet in the city if you are not familiar with the city. It is a big, and buzy place and if you are not used to that you can get lost majorly there.
I suggest the Island to meet, then as a group maybe, to go to the city via the LIRR.

Yea I agree, The city is the last place to set up a meeting...... Upstate NY or Central NY you could go to carrousel mall or something on a certain day....
