Could there be a thread in here that isn't just a game, but maybe just actual conversation? Or does something like that just not work with these threads?

It could work but you are likely to get random remarks within it as people use it to simply advance their post count. A large share of the threads within this section are made the way they are for the rapid and easy ( requiring little to no thought ) accumulation of status bonus points.

I dont think this would be the right sort of thread if you want to maybe talk to people then why not just send them a message
