Part one.....Kureni......
The sky was so blue, with a few clouds. The land in peace, People exploring the land. A dormant volcano deep inside a tall mountain, Lava moving all around. A Man lay deep inside the lava, A scar over his right eye. He stared up at the opening, knowing he is trapped there. but it also was his home, He thought to himself. "I wish, for just one day to be free of this place."
A Demonic voice came from the outside, "Is that all you wish for?" The man blinked with confusion, but answered. "Yes it is." The Demonic voice spoke again, "I will grant your wish! but on one condition." The man jumped at the proposal, "And what is this condition of yours? I would do anything to have my Wish come true!"
The Demonic one laughed, "When the time comes. You must lend me your powers, You who are the almighty ruler Over the flames of Serian." The man thought it threw, "And what would someone like you do with My power?" The Demonic voice snarled at His reply, "Destroy those who betrayed Me! Now do you want your wish fulfilled or not. I go tired of this convorsation, Decide! Yes or No!?"
The man reached His hand up, "I agree to your terms! But i want to be free longer than a day." The Demonic voice sighed, "I will give you a year. On the Last day, on Midnight, you will be dragged back to your volcano, and once i need your power I will come for it. Agreed?" The man had a smile on His face, "Yes yes! I agree with you! Now free Me!-
A purple orb of light struck the man in the chest, "This will bind you to your contract with Me, Korini The Fire Lord. You are Free, Enjoy your Year of Freedom while it lasts." A loud Rumble could be hurd, Sparks of Flame dancing up and out of the volcano, A blinding light shot from deep withing in the volcano.
Korini woke up the next day, to feel dirt under his palms. "I am Free! Thank you Demonic person. Even tho I know you are evil, i agreed on this bargain. I will find a way to set things right, I have to!" He stood to his feet taking in his surrounding's. Noticing he was deep inside a forest, he stood there gripping his hands into fists. Small flames coming from his body, "Well seems i can use my powers. that is a good thing to know, but still after a year i will have to give them to Him."
Looking up to the sky, the sun light beeming Down upon him. He began to walk threw the forest, not knowing were he was, or were he was going. He came upon a clearing, herbs, flowers, and great trees as far as the eye can see.
Making his way to the center of the clearing, he sat down under a tree. Enjoying then shade, his mouth turned dry. "I don't see a water source, I will need to look around some more."
His stomach started to growl, as he looked around for anything edible.
He stood up and continued to walk threw the clearing.
Part two......Fate, destiny, and a apple.......
He stumbled upon a lake, with a shimmering water fall as he kneeled down Taking a few sips of water. His stomach growled louder, "I usually eat lava rocks. But that won't work here, i will keep going need to try to find a village."
After a few hours of walking, he found himself lost, hungry, and thirsty again. Not knowing Wich direction he came from, so he couldn't go back the way he came.
He looked around his surroundings, his hand on his head as he pointed from one direction to the next. "Which way should I go, I need to figure this out. Should have asked for a map, damn it."
as a timid shy voice came from behind. "Umm Hello Sir, can- can I help you?" He turned to be stunned, at the beautiful woman standing before Him. "Y... Yes, I am lost, hungry, and thirsty."
She smiled to him, Her eyes were as blue as the ocean, her hair as white a snow, she stood in a blue and red kimono. She held a small basket, filled with apples, herbs and other items. She pulled a apple out of the basket, offering it to him. S..Sorry, I can't offer more. If you will follow me, I will lead you to My village. I live there, with my two sisters."
He nodded, biting into the apple. It felt like heaven, as the juices leaped into his mouth. His eyes lite up, as he stared at the girl before him. She looked back at him, "btw my name is Yura."
Korini Followed her down the road, along side the forest to her village. Korini had good eyes, Noticing her hands and feet were bruised. "Are you hurt Miss?" She looked back to him. "Oh you noticed, I am fine. My family is poor, we can't afford most that others can. So i work, I do what i can. Most of the time, I get hurt here and there. but I am fine, thank you for your concern Sir. By the way, what is your name?"
"Korini, but most call Me Kori." She giggled lightly "I am Yura, it is a pleasure to meet you." The two reached the village outskirts, "Well Kori? this is My home, its not that big but we have great food. Oh Sorry, the village name is Starville." Korini, stared at the village. "Thank you for leading me here, Yura. I hope to see you again, You are a very nice human." She giggled loudly, while covering her mouth. "You are so silly Kori, and thank you. I hope to see you again too, your very interesting."
Yura blushed, then ran toward the village waving to Kori. He watched her run away, his heart beating like a drum. "I want to protect that woman, I think i am falling for her."
He walked over to the hilltop taking in the sight of the village. Seeing horses, cattle, and even people coming and going. "Wow this place seems busy, hmm I have to get used to all this quickly."
Part three.......Starville, and a Gang.......
Sitting down on the hill top, He started to pat himself down. "I do not have any of this lands currency! How the hell am i going to survive out here!?" As he yelled up to the stars, A Ninja appeared out of the blue. She kneeled down before Him, "My Lord, I bring a gift from My Master." She pulled the satchel from her shoulder, handing it over to Kori.
He opened the satchel, to see tons of Erons, He looked down to the bowing ninja. "Thank you, I was wondering how i was going to survive with out this. Then you appear, That was some good timing." The ninja stood, bowing to Him. "My Lord, that bag is speacil. anything you put inside it, you will never run out of. Currency, Food, medical items, and much more. I shall take my leave now, Master awaits my return." She vanished, just as fast as she appeared.
Korini, blinked confused. "Maybe Mister Demonic, is her Master." He started walking toward the village, coming to the gates. A guard placed his spear in his way, "Halt! What is your purpose in Starville?" Korini looked to the man, "Looking for a place to stay the night, I am new to this area." The guard looked korini over, "Any weapons?" Korini Shook his head, While opening his cloak. The guard pulled the spear back to his right side, "You may enter, The building in the far back is the inn. Do not couse trouble, I will be watching."
Korini placed his hand on the mans shoulder, "Thanks alot man." The guard nodded, watching korini enter the village, making his way to the inn. The moon was just rising, He placed his hand on the door. "Good thing i asked for more days, If i hadent i would have already been sent back." Opening the door to the inn, a voice yelled out. "Welcome, Welcome To the Starville Inn!" He made his way up to the woman behind the wooden desk. "Hello, My name is Korini. I am hoping to buy a room, How much would that be?"
The Woman Was excited, "I am Liz, I go by Liz. Thank you for coming in today, Buisness is running kinda slow, since not many people come out here. but none the less, A room for the night is twenty five Erons, and we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner." Korini smiled to Liz, reaching in the satchel pulling out six hundred and twenty five Erons. Placing it before liz, "I want a room for two weeks and a day. When the time comes, I will pay you again for longer." Her eyes went wide at all the Erons he placed on the table, "Thank you for your support!" He smiled to her.
Liz stood to her feet, taking one of the stone keys from the wall. "Now follow me to your room, You will have the best room we got." He followed liz, taking in the place bit by bit. His thoughts moving to Yura, "I am going to help her, i know she is too proud to accept help. I will do it in the shadows, I already Miss her presence." Liz came to a stop opening the door, she handed him the key. "This is your room, I will send your Dinner up to your room in a little while." She left him alone, as he walked into the room closing the door.
He sat his satchel to the table, moving to the window. Staring out into the village, the Night was Dark. only a few lanterns lite the streets, not many people were out and about that night. He noticed Yura walking with two others, He smiled to himself. "Must be her sisters she talked about." They went out of sight, as he walked over to the bed. Laying down, sleeping the night away with blissfull dreams.
Couple hours latter, a knock on the door awoke him from his slumber. "Sir? I have your Dinner." He stood from his bed, opening the door. A young boy walked in with a tray, sitting it on the table. "Here you are Sir, enjoy." He walked out the room, closing the door behind him. He picked up the tray, moving to the bed. Placing it onto the bed, as he looked threw what they had brought him. A Big bowl of rice, with a place of baked chicken herbs and spices covered the chicken, few pieces of toast, and a pice of Apple pie.
"This all looks good, quess ill start with the chicken." Slowly eating his dinner. He hurd a ruckus coming from down below, voices yelling in anger, and Liz trying to calm them down.
"So Liz, were is this Stranger!" Liz shook her head to them. "he payed for two weeks, to stay here. He is a kind person, I will not let you harm the only customer I have." The man slammed his hand onto the desk! "Look here woman, I will tear this place apart till I find Him! Now wich room is He in?" Liz pulled away, grabbing the knife stuck in a carving of a Dear. Just as Korini walked down into the room, "are you looking for Me?" Liz stood in place looking over to Korini. "You should have stayed in your room Sir Kori!" He walked over to Liz taking the knife in her hand. "I can't be cousing problems for you, and I will not let you get hurt on count of Me. but thank you for trying to protect me, I am gratefull."
The group of five men, stood staring at Korini. "We are the tax collecters of this village, our gang runs everything around here. We own the entire town, you have to pay us to be able to stay in our village." Korini's eyes went to the group, "Say what now?" The leader of the men pulled out a katana. "My Boss, sent me here to collect from you. You think you can walk into our village, stay at our inn with out paying a protection fee." Korini chuckled, "these fools have no idea what there dealing with." He looked over to Liz with a smile, "Hey Some of your things might get broken. Add any fees to My next bill, Don't worry it won't take long to Take these fools out."
With a scream one of the men, came running toward Korini with a Dagger drawn. In a quick second, Korini stepped to the side. His right fist connecting with the mans, right side sending him into a table, as the table is destroyed from the intensity of the punch. The others became cousious about Korini, each surounding him. Liz watched on in shock, "Try not to get hurt Kori!" He nodded to her with a grin. "Like they could hurt Me!" Another came up behind him, sword slashing down toward his back. Korini flipped onto his hands, using both legs to kick the man then he spun in return spun the second attacker toward a group of chairs. Broken wood all around him, he passed out against the wall. Korini got to his feet, dusting himself off. "okay so whos next then?"
In several miniutes both the other two attackers were taken out, one thrown out a window, and the other threw a wall. Now there was just one left, the leader of the group. "Now you wish you never came here to challenge me right? Do you really think, that you can defeat Me?" The man slowly backed toward the door, Liz snuck and opened the door. Korini had the look of complete bliss within his eyes, he rushed the man stricking him in his chest with a open palm, sending the man flying out the door with a scream. Liz slammed the door shut, "And stay out!"
Liz looked over to Korini, while he sat down on a half broken chair. Rubbing his head, "Sorry about the mess! I'll make sure to pay for everything, and even help clean it up." Liz walked over to Him, offering Him a glass of mead. "I know you will Sir, Kori." Korini tossed the other attackers out of the inn, while Liz was cleaning up the mess. The two helped eachother clean the inn, tossing all the broken wood out in the back. Liz looked to Korini with a smile on her face, "I'll handle the rest of the clean up. You should go to bed, i know your tired." Korini patted her on the shoulder, "thank you Liz." He made his way up to His room, Finishing His dinner, and going to bed.
The night grew long, the moonlight shineing so bright down upon the land. a Man in black robes stood upon a hill staring down at the village Starville, His gaze was filled with ambition. "He should be asleep by now, That gang will keep things intresting for Me. But, i will need to make things a little more fun.... Riu appear to Me!" The ninja appeared out of the Darkness. "Yes my Master, how May i be of survice to you?" The man turned to the kneeling ninja. "I want you to find the strongest out there, to challenge Korini. I need His power to grow stronger, and i want you to stay close to him once your mission is complete." The ninja vanished, as the man turned his gaze back on the village with a sinister grin.
The moon had fallen, and the sun had begane to arise. Korini awoke to the scent of eggs, and the scent of fried bacon. He yawned with a stretch, sitting up in His bed. "I need to buy suppies, and some cloths today." He stood up from the bed, putting on his shirt and walking out the room to be greeted by a pair of twins. One was red headed, with green eyes, the other blue headed, with red eyes. The two stood there with a bucket, and cloths. "These two are cute, but they look young." The blue headed one, raised her hand. "Excuss me, but my sis and I have cleaning duty. You'er kinda in the way, Mister." He stepped to the side, as the two walked by. "Sorry about that, I was just thinking how cute the two of you were." They looked back to him, each blushing. "Thank you, Sir."
Korini made his way down into the lower part of the inn, Liz was standing behind her desk Tailing all the cost of the damaged goods, walls, chairs, tables, and windows. She scratched her head "This is going to cost alot to fix, I do not know what to do!" Korini walked up to her, taking the satchel from his shoulder. He turned the satchel over, and dumped over five thousand erons onto her desk. "Is this enough?" Liz went speechless. "H...How is this possible?" Korini smiled to her, "My satchel is magic, I have a unlimited supply of erons. I have one condition on this, Do not throw too much of this around at one time, and do not tell anyone of My satchel. Don't want these thugs to step up there game, do we?" She pushed all the erons into her desk, with a happy laugh. "No we don't, and thank you very much!" He waved to her as he walked out the door into the village.
