lustful dreams of the poets ending

Those skies which burn
Condemn me to a life of lust
But to this I will not hold
So I let go and strive for something beyond
This world that burns
I have yearned for the poets ending
Only to find that which is beautiful
Is lost among the ashes
So I burn in these skies of lust
Dreaming and deceiving myself
Of the poets ending
That is full of tear filled goblets
Of over flowing proportions
The world seems to drown in this effect
As do I
In this world of lust
But only the hope remains
Of a poets ending
Which neither the bard nor the poet
Shall ever find that
This nightmare is the poets
Ending
